Well now, you folks wanna hear ’bout that big ol’ WWE Clash at the Castle 2024, huh? I ain’t too good with all them fancy words, but I reckon I can tell ya ’bout what went down. So sit tight, I’ll tell ya all the bits and pieces from that there show in Glasgow. There was a lotta action, a lotta surprises, and some folks left happy, and some didn’t quite get what they hoped for. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
First up, the big one: AJ Styles vs Cody Rhodes

Now, this was a match folks was waitin’ for, I tell ya. AJ Styles, all confident as can be, took on Cody Rhodes for that there WWE Undisputed Championship. This wasn’t just any ol’ match, though—no, no—it was an “I Quit” match. That means one of ’em had to say they quit, give up, surrender, or whatever you wanna call it. And let me tell ya, it was somethin’ to see. Them two went at it like wild animals. Chairs, ladders, and everything but the kitchen sink. Both of ’em was bleedin’ by the end, real bad. But it was Cody Rhodes who came out on top. AJ Styles had no choice but to say them two dreaded words, “I quit.” Ain’t that somethin’!
Women’s Tag Team Match: A real slobberknocker!
Now, don’t go thinkin’ the ladies didn’t get a piece of the action. They sure did! There was a Triple Threat Match for them WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, where Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill (the champion, mind ya), Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre, and Isla Dawn all tangled up. Them women weren’t holdin’ back, no sir. From high-flyin’ moves to power slams, it was like watchin’ a storm roll through. In the end, it was Bianca and Jade Cargill who came out victorious, keepin’ the gold in their hands. A mighty fine match it was, that’s for sure!
The Return of CM Punk: A Shock to All
Now here’s somethin’ that knocked everybody sideways—CM Punk came back! That’s right, the ol’ fella came outta nowhere and caused a stir. Some folks been waitin’ on him, and he sure didn’t disappoint. Punk showed up during Drew McIntyre’s big match against Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title. Drew was all ready to win, but no sir, CM Punk had other plans. He cost Drew McIntyre that title, just like that. Some folks say that was a low blow, but others, well, they was happy to see Punk back in the mix. Either way, it made a lotta folks talk!

Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest: A Hard-Fought Battle
Now, the match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest, well that was a hard one. Both of them men were sweatin’ buckets by the time it was over, both of ‘em takin’ shots left and right. But like I said, CM Punk sure threw a wrench into Drew’s plans. Drew fought hard, but it just weren’t enough to hold on to that title. It was a real nail-biter, but Damian Priest walked away with the win. That title’s heavy, but I reckon Priest is the one who can carry it for now.
Big Moments and Big Wins
All in all, this Clash at the Castle was one for the books. You had surprises, you had upsets, and you had a whole lotta wrestlin’. People was on the edge of their seats the whole time, and even though Drew McIntyre didn’t get the win he wanted, it was a good show for the fans. I reckon they made some money too, cause there was 11,391 folks packed in that arena, watchin’ it all unfold. That’s a lotta people!
Final Thoughts

If I had to rate it, I’d say it was a solid 5 outta 5. You got your action, you got your surprises, and you got your good ol’ fashioned drama. That’s what wrestling’s all about, right? I reckon WWE did right by the folks that showed up. They sure made a night of it, I’ll tell ya that. If you missed it, you best catch the replay, cause this one’s not to be forgotten anytime soon!
Well, that’s all I got to say ‘bout that. Hope y’all enjoyed my little ramblin’. Until next time, take care of yourselves and don’t let nobody tell ya different. WWE sure knows how to put on a show, I’ll give ‘em that!
