Alright, listen up, y’all. You wanna watch them Kentucky Wildcats play football, huh? It ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. Even this old woman can figure it out, so you surely can too.
First thing’s first, you gotta know when them boys are playin’. That’s the most important part, right? Can’t watch a game if you don’t know when it’s on! They always blabberin’ about it on the TV and the radio, so keep your ears open. And if you’re fancy, you can look it up on that internet thingy. Just type in somethin’ like “Kentucky football schedule” and it’ll pop right up. They got all sorts of websites now, like that SEC Network somethin’ or other.

Now, once you know the when, you gotta figure out where to watch it. Back in my day, we just huddled around the radio. But now, you got all sorts of choices, makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it.
- TV: This is the easiest way, I reckon. A lot of them games are on regular TV, like that ABC or ESPN. If you got cable, you’re probably good to go. They say some games are on the SEC Network, so you might need to pay extra for that. It’s all a big money grab, if you ask me.
- Computer or Phone: If you’re one of them young folks always glued to your phone, you can watch it on there too. They got these things called “apps” now. WatchESPN, they call it. You gotta download it and maybe pay some money, I don’t rightly know. But my grandkids do it all the time, so it must be easy enough. You can also watch on websites like * or maybe even FOX Sports, depending on who’s playing.
- At the Stadium: Now, this is the best way to watch, I tell ya. Nothin’ beats bein’ there in person, hearin’ the crowd roar and smellin’ the hot dogs. But you gotta get tickets, and them things can be pricey. And you gotta drive all the way to Lexington, to that Kroger Field place. It’s a big ol’ stadium, holds somethin’ like 61,000 people. That’s a whole lotta folks! If you’re lucky, you might even catch a game against teams like Louisville or Ohio.
Okay, so you know when and where. Now, what about who they’re playin’? Sometimes it’s a big game, like when they play Georgia or Texas. Those are the ones everyone wants to see. They even show ‘em on national TV sometimes. But sometimes they play some smaller schools, like Ohio. Those games ain’t as exciting, but they still count. And you know, they got some good players on that Kentucky team. That Ja’Corey Brooks fella, they say he’s one of the best receivers in college football. I don’t know nothin’ about that, but he sounds like a real humdinger!
So, to recap, watchin’ Kentucky football is easy peasy. Find out when they’re playin’, figure out where to watch it, and then sit back and enjoy. Whether it’s on Sky Sports over in the UK, or here on ABC, ESPN, or the SEC Network, you got plenty of ways to see them Wildcats play.
And don’t forget the snacks! Can’t watch a football game without some good eats. Chips, dip, maybe some of them little sausages wrapped in dough – pigs in a blanket, they call ‘em. That’s what makes it a real party. And if you’re at the game, well, you gotta get yourself a hot dog and a soda. It’s just the way it is.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this stuff, but that’s pretty much all there is to it. If this old lady can figure it out, you can too. So go on, get yourself ready for some football! And Go Cats!

Oh, and one more thing. If you’re still confused, ask one of them young folks. They know everything about this techy stuff. They’ll get you all set up in no time. Just don’t let them charge you too much money for it!
