Alright, listen up y’all, let’s talk about this here football game, the TCU one. You know, the one with the fellas throwin’ the pigskin around? Yeah, that one.
People keep askin’, “Where can I watch that dang TCU football game?” Well, hold your horses, I’m gonna tell ya. It ain’t always the same place, you see. Sometimes it’s on one of them TV channels, sometimes it’s on another. It’s enough to make your head spin, I tell ya.

So, what channel is the TCU football game on? Well, it depends. See, they play a whole bunch of games, and not all of ’em are on the same channel. Makes it kinda tricky, like findin’ a good tomato in a whole patch of rotten ones.
I heard tell some of them games are on ESPN. You know, that sports channel? The one with all the shoutin’ and hollerin’? Yeah, that’s the one. They seem to like showin’ them TCU boys, so that’s a good place to start lookin’.
- Like that there game against Stanford? Heard that was on late at night, 10:30 p.m. Who in their right mind stays up that late? Anyways, that one was on ESPN, I think.
- And then there’s that game against Long Island… that was on a Saturday. Don’t rightly remember what time, but it was on TV, probably ESPN too. They beat ’em good, 45 to nothin’! Now that’s what I call a whuppin’!
- But then, there are games on other channels too. Like that Baylor game? That one was on ESPN2. A little different, but still on TV. They won that one too, beat them Baylor Bears.
Now, sometimes they play at different times too. Not all games are in the afternoon, you know. Some are in the evening, like that Baylor game at 7 p.m. And that Stanford game way late at night. Makes it hard for an old lady like me to keep track.
And get this, some of these games, you can even watch ’em on your computer or your phone! Can you believe that? They call it “streamin’.” Sounds fancy, but it just means watchin’ it on the internet. They said you could watch the game against Cincinnati like that, on somethin’ called *. I don’t know nothin’ about that, but the young folks seem to like it.
What about that big championship game, the one against Georgia? Oh, that was a big deal. That one was on ESPN too. And you could watch it on that “streamin’” thing too. Didn’t do them Horned Frogs much good though, lost that one. Too bad, they were doin’ so well.

So, if you’re lookin’ for the TCU game, your best bet is to check ESPN. But keep an eye out, it could be on ESPN2 or even that “streamin’” thing. And pay attention to the time, ’cause they play at all sorts of hours. It’s a real mess, if you ask me. Why can’t they just put all the games on the same channel at the same time? Makes a body tired just thinkin’ about it.
And another thing, I heard tell there’s a game comin’ up against UCF. Now, them fellas gave TCU a run for their money. Lost by just one point, can you believe it? 35 to 34. Close game, real close. Don’t rightly know when or where you can watch that one, but I reckon if you keep your ears open and check them channels I mentioned, you’ll find it.
Anyways, that’s the best I can tell ya. If you still can’t find the game, well, I guess you’re just outta luck. Maybe ask one of them young folks, they seem to know everything about these things.
Just remember, keep an eye on ESPN, ESPN2, and maybe that “streamin’” thing. And pay attention to the day and time. That’s all there is to it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about football has made me hungry.
