You ask me how many of them NBA players are Jehovah’s Witnesses? Well, I heard some things, let me tell you.
They play that basketball, jumping around, making all that money. Some of them, they believe in Jehovah. Just like me, well, not really like me. I don’t play no basketball, that’s for sure! But that Jehovah’s Witness, that’s a thing, a religion, you know? They go door to door, sometimes. They are good people, most times. Not like those crazy people down the street, I tell ya.

So, these NBA players, I heard some names. There’s this one fella, Dewayne Dedmon. He plays for Miami, I think. Big guy, good at throwing that ball, I guess. He’s one of them Jehovah’s Witnesses, they say. So, that’s one. That Dewayne Dedmon plays for Miami Heat, I heard.
Then there’s another one, used to play for Indiana. Danny Granger, that’s his name. He was good, I hear. Real good. He doesn’t play no more, I think. He retired, you know. He’s also a Jehovah’s Witness. So that’s two, if you are still keeping track of it. Dewayne Dedmon and Danny Granger, two ex-NBA players are Jehovah’s Witnesses.
And another one from Indiana, Darren Collison. He played with that Granger fella. He’s a Jehovah’s Witness, too. They say he quit playing because of his religion. That’s what I heard, anyway. So that’s three. You got your Dedmon, your Granger, and this Collison fella. Three ex-NBA players are Jehovah’s Witnesses.
I heard there’s more, too. There’s so many of them NBA players, it is hard to know, really. Over 4,800 people play in NBA, I heard. That is a lot of people playing games, right? Some folks said there are eight of them are Jehovah’s Witnesses. Eight! That is a lot, right? But I only know three for sure. You know, they are big and tall, good at that basketball. It’s a sight to see, I’m sure. I don’t watch much, though. Too much running for me.
One guy, Dave Meyers, he played for the Lakers. Long time ago, I guess. 1975, someone said. He was a Jehovah’s Witness, too. Another one is AC Green. That’s four and five then. Five ex-nba players who are Jehovah’s Witnesses. You know, I don’t know if it is true, but some folks said there was a football player named Dave Pear, play for Buccaneers. He is not an NBA player. But he is also a Jehovah’s Witness. You know, I only know a little bit about this, too much for an old lady like me.

These fellas, they believe in their religion. That’s good, I guess. Everyone needs something to believe in. Even those rich basketball players. They got their money, their fame, but they still got their religion. It’s a good thing, I suppose.
- Dewayne Dedmon
- Danny Granger
- Darren Collison
- Dave Meyers
- AC Green
So, how many ex-NBA players are Jehovah’s Witnesses? I heard at least eight. At least five for sure. Maybe more. It’s hard to keep track of all them. There are just so many of them. They are all over the place. But those ones I mentioned, they’re definitely Jehovah’s Witnesses. I heard it from a reliable source, you know. Not that old lady down the street, she lies a lot. But a good source. Trust me.
Anyway, that’s all I know about that. These basketball players and their religion. It’s a thing, you know? A big thing. They play their games, they make their money, and they believe in Jehovah. Just like regular folks, I guess. Just taller. And richer. And better at basketball, of course.
Well, I gotta go now. Got things to do. But you remember what I said. There are some ex-NBA players who are Jehovah’s Witnesses. At least five or eight. Maybe more, who knows? It is a lot. A whole lot. You remember that, okay? Now, off with you. I got work to do. Don’t come asking me any more questions, my head hurts.
