Alright, so I wanted to share my little adventure with trying to delete my MyTeam in NBA 2K24. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be.
I started the game and honestly, I got a bit lost in the menus. I remembered seeing something about multiple saves when I first loaded up the game, but this time, I couldn’t find that screen anywhere. I was like, “Where did it go?” I clicked around, and I accidentally launched MyTeam instead of MyCareer. Oops! That was not what I wanted.

Then I did some digging online. I found out that some folks were talking about hovering over the original MyPlayer, hitting a button, and a prompt should pop up to delete it. Sounded simple enough. I tried that, but it didn’t work for me. Maybe it was for a different game mode or something.
- I went back to the main menu.
- I looked for an option to manage my saves or profiles.
- Nothing there seemed related to deleting MyTeam.
I was stuck but then I read somewhere about deleting your 2K Account. That sounded a bit extreme, but I checked it out. I logged into my 2K Account on their website and looked for an option to delete the account. There were instructions, but I was hesitant. I mean, I didn’t want to lose everything, just my MyTeam progress. Then I found another tip about deleting the game’s reserved space. It said the game would recreate it when it launches. That sounded promising! I went to my console’s storage settings, found the reserved space for NBA 2K24, and deleted it. I restarted the game, hoping for the best.
Fingers Crossed!
And guess what? It worked! When the game started back up, it was like starting fresh. I navigated to the MyTeam mode, and it was all reset. I finally did it! I could start over, build my team from scratch, and this time, I knew what I was doing. All in all, it was a bit of a journey, but I figured it out in the end. If you’re in the same boat, I hope my little adventure helps you out.
