So, I’m a huge NBA fan, right? And I recently switched to Fios, which is pretty cool, but then I realized I had no clue where to find the games. Panic mode! I couldn’t miss watching my favorite team play.
First thing I did was grab the Fios remote and start flipping through channels. Yeah, not the smartest move. I mean, who has the time for that? It’s like searching for a needle in a haystack, a very large and confusing haystack.

After a good, I don’t know, 20 minutes of channel surfing, I thought, “There has to be a better way!” So, I picked up my phone and started googling. Typed in something like “NBA games on Fios channel” and hoped for the best.
The search results were a bit of a mess, honestly. Lots of general info about NBA games, but nothing specific about Fios. But, I kept scrolling, kept digging, you know how it is. Gotta find what you’re looking for.
Then, I stumbled upon the Fios website. It wasn’t easy to find what I wanted, their site is a bit of a maze. But after clicking around for a bit, I found a section on channel lineups. Bingo!
They had this big list of channels, but it was overwhelming. So, I used the “find” feature on my browser, you know, Ctrl+F, and typed in “NBA.” And there it was, plain as day.
Turns out, the main channels for NBA games on Fios are:

- ESPN – Usually in the 70 or 570 range for HD.
- TNT – Somewhere around 51 or 551 for HD.
- NBA TV – This one’s a bit trickier, around 89 or 589 for HD.
- ABC – This one is more for playoffs and the big games, it’s a local channel around 7 or 507 for HD.
And if you’re into the more regional games, you gotta look for the specific sports networks for your area. Those can be all over the place, channel-wise.
Anyway, I finally found the game, just in time for tip-off. It was a close call, but I made it. Now, I have the channels memorized, so no more frantic searching. Game night is saved!
It was quite a journey from channel flipping to finally figuring it out. But hey, that’s how we learn, right? Now I can enjoy my NBA games without the stress. Hope this helps any other Fios newbies out there!
