Alright, so you wanna watch them LSU baseball games, huh? It ain’t as hard as milkin’ a cow, but it ain’t exactly like fallin’ off a log neither. Let me tell ya what I know, and you can see if it makes sense.
First off, them TV fellers, they got all sorts of ways to show the games. Sometimes it’s on regular TV, you know, like what your grandpappy used to watch. But these days, it’s mostly on that internet stuff. They call it “streamin’.” Sounds fancy, but it just means watchin’ it on your phone or computer.

ESPN+, that’s one place they show the games a lot. It’s like payin’ for a special channel, you gotta subscribe to it. They had a bunch of games on there last year, and I reckon they’ll have more this year too. Said somethin’ about games against Rice and that Southeastern place bein’ on there. And some tournament down in Texas, somethin’ about Karbach and Round Rock. Sounded like a mouthful to me.
Then there’s this . That’s another one of them subscription things. They had some games too, that tournament in Texas I was tellin’ you about. You gotta pay to watch, just like with that ESPN+ thing.
Now, sometimes, they put the games on somethin’ called SEC Network+. That one’s a little tricky. You can’t just turn on your TV and find it. You gotta go to their website, *, or use that WatchESPN app. They said somethin’ about 16 games out of the first 19 bein’ on one of them plus channels, either ESPN+ or SEC Network+. That’s a lot of ball games, if you ask me.
- So, to recap, you got ESPN+.
- Then there’s *.
- And don’t forget SEC Network+ on the website or that WatchESPN app.
And if you got one of them fancy phones, like an Apple iPhone or somethin’, you can watch on the LSU Sports app. My grandson showed me that once. Seemed kinda complicated, but he figured it out quick enough. Kids these days, they know all about them gadgets.
They also said somethin’ about the games bein’ on TV, but they didn’t say which ones for sure. Sometimes they’re on regular ESPN, sometimes on that SEC Network. You just gotta keep an eye out, I guess. Read the paper, or ask your neighbor. Someone’s bound to know.

They were talkin’ about some game where some team, North Carolina I think it was, tied it up in the ninth and then beat LSU. Happens to the best of ‘em, I reckon. And they said somethin’ about LSU winnin’ a bunch of openin’ games in a row, since way back in 2001. That’s a long time, even for an old lady like me.
Anyways, that’s about all I know about watchin’ them LSU games. It ain’t so hard once you figure it out. Just gotta find the right channel, or the right website, and you’re good to go. Now, go on and enjoy the game, and don’t forget to holler for the Tigers!
Oh, and they said somethin’ about a game startin’ at 2 p.m. in Alex Box Stadium. That’s their home field, you know. Said it was gonna be on that SEC Network+, so you know where to find it now.
They also talked about games on Saturday and Sunday at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. Didn’t say which ones, but if you’re lookin’ to watch, that’s where they’ll be. Just keep an eye out for the times and which channel they’re on.
Alright, I think I’ve told you everything I know. Go on now, and get to watchin’ that baseball!
