Alright, let’s talk about this AJ Lee girl and whether she’s comin’ back to that wrestlin’ thing, you know, the WWE. Folks keep yappin’ about it, so I figured I’d chime in.
Now, I ain’t no expert, mind you. I just watch them fellas and gals smack each other around on TV sometimes. But from what I gather, this AJ girl, she was pretty good. Tough as nails, they say. But she up and quit a long time ago, back in 2015, almost ten years now. That’s a mighty long time to be away from the ring.
Her husband, that CM Punk fella, he came back to WWE last year, stirred up a whole heap of trouble, you know how he is. And that got folks thinkin’, “Hey, maybe AJ will come back too!” They were a team back in the day, those two. Real popular, I hear.
But Punk, he says she’s busy. Real busy. Got other things goin’ on. And he don’t wanna get nobody’s hopes up, says it’s all on her if she wants to come back or not. Sounds like she’s got a mind of her own, that one. Good for her, I say.
I saw some folks gettin’ all excited ’cause she posted a picture of her old wrestlin’ clothes online. They thought that meant she was comin’ back. But she shut that down quick, said she’s still retired. Can’t blame her, I guess. Wrestlin’s a tough business. Beats up your body somethin’ fierce.

Now, some folks say never say never, especially in wrestlin’. Folks come back all the time, even after long breaks. But I don’t know. This AJ girl, she seems happy doin’ her own thing. And honestly, good for her. Why go back to gettin’ slammed around when you can be doin’ somethin’ else you like?
I heard she goes by her real name now, whatever that is. Seems like she’s moved on. Maybe she’s writin’ books, or sellin’ somethin’, or just plain relaxin’. She earned it, I figure, after all them years of wrestlin’. It ain’t easy, you know. All that jumpin’ and flippin’. Lord have mercy!
So, will she ever come back? Beats me. I ain’t got a crystal ball. But if I had to guess, I’d say probably not. She seems content with her life now. And that’s what matters, right? Bein’ happy. Wrestlin’ or no wrestlin’. It’s her life, her choice. And that’s all there is to it, plain and simple.
But hey, you never know. Stranger things have happened. Maybe one day she’ll get that itch to come back. Maybe she’ll miss the roar of the crowd, the bright lights, the whole shebang. But until then, I wouldn’t hold my breath. Just enjoy the wrestlin’ we got, and let AJ be.
And if she does come back? Well, then I reckon we’ll all be surprised. But until that day comes, I’m gonna say she’s stayin’ retired. That’s my two cents, for what it’s worth. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about wrestlin’ has made me hungry.
It’s all up to her, that’s what I say. And whatever she decides, I wish her the best. She seems like a good gal, that AJ. Tough, but good. And that’s all you can ask for in this world, ain’t it?
