Alright, so, you wanna know who got the boot from that wrestling thing, the WWE, right? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s like this. A whole bunch of ’em got sent packin’ recently. Like, a whole bunch! Heard it on the TV while I was eatin’ my grits.
The Big Cleanout
Seems like back in September, 2023, they just started throwin’ folks out like yesterday’s trash. Don’t rightly know why, but that’s how it goes sometimes, I guess. One minute you’re on top, the next you’re out on your ear. Happened to my cousin Billy Bob when he lost his job at the pickle factory. Same kinda deal, I reckon.
- Dolph Ziggler: Now, this fella, Dolph Ziggler, he’d been around forever. Like, forever! Always seein’ him on that there TV, wrestlin’ and whatnot. But even he got the chop. Goes to show ya, nobody’s safe.
- Elias: Then there’s this Elias fella. Used to strum that there guitar and sing. Not bad, I guess, but not my kinda music. He got fired too. Maybe they didn’t like his singin’ no more. Who knows?
- Mustafa Ali: And that Mustafa Ali, always flippin’ and jumpin’ around. Seemed like a nice enough young man, but he’s gone too. Just like that! Poof!
- Shelton Benjamin: This Shelton fella, he was a strong one. Muscles like a bull. But even muscles ain’t enough these days, I reckon. He got fired right along with the rest of ’em.
- Matt Riddle: Oh, and that Matt Riddle from that NXT thing. Young fella, but he got fired too. Just a day after the others. Maybe he was late for work or somethin’. Don’t rightly know.
More Firin’s and Rumors
And then there’s this Odyssey Jones fella. Heard he got fired too. Don’t know much about him, but it’s all over the internet, or so my grandson tells me. He’s always fiddlin’ with that phone of his, readin’ about these wrestlers.
Now, some folks sayin’ it’s ’cause of that big merger they had. Somethin’ about UFC and TKO or somethin’. Sounds like a whole lotta fancy talk to me. But it seems like when these big companies get together, people start losin’ their jobs. It’s always the little guy that gets squeezed, ain’t it? Just like when the bank took my neighbor’s farm. Big business, they don’t care about nothin’ but money, I tell ya.
Remembering the Old-timers
And they been firin’ folks for years, not just now. Like that Kurt Angle fella, the Olympic gold medalist. They let him go way back in 2006. And that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, he was a big deal, but he left too, though I think he left on his own terms if I remember right. He was always yellin’ and stompin’ around. Reminds me of my old rooster, always causin’ a ruckus.
Surprisin’ Exits
They sayin’ these firin’s were real surprises. Guess nobody saw it comin’. But that’s life, ain’t it? One minute you’re up, the next you’re down. Just gotta keep on keepin’ on, like I always say. Work hard, mind your own business, and don’t go borrowin’ money you can’t pay back. That’s my motto.
So, there ya have it. A whole bunch of wrestlers got fired from the WWE. Don’t know why, don’t really care. Just hope they find somethin’ else to do. Maybe they can come work on my farm. I could always use an extra hand or two, especially during harvest season. These young fellas got muscles, they can pick some beans and tomatoes.
Anyway, that’s all I know about it. Time for me to go make some supper. Got some leftover chicken and dumplings in the fridge, calling my name.
