So, I got curious the other day about how many NBA players are Jehovah’s Witnesses. You know, just one of those random thoughts that pop into your head. I figured, why not do a little digging and see what I could find out?
First, I hit up Google, just to get a general idea. I typed in “how many NBA players are Jehovah’s Witnesses”. Nothing much popped up on there right away. I did more research and found some articles and posts, but nothing definitive.

Then I came across this one dude, Danny Granger. Apparently, he’s a Jehovah’s Witness. Played for the Pacers, had an 11-season run in the NBA. Averaged something like 16.8 points per game. Not bad, right? I made a note of his name. He seemed to be pretty well-known for his faith.
So, based on my digging, here’s the list I came up with:
- Danny Granger: This is the main guy I found. Seems like he was pretty open about his faith during his time with the Pacers.
Honestly, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be to find this info. But hey, at least I learned something new today! Turns out, not a ton of info out there, but Danny Granger is definitely one of them. Cool, huh?
