Okay, so, I’ve been seeing all this buzz online about AJ Lee possibly making a comeback to WWE in 2024. As a huge fan, I got super excited and decided to dig a little deeper into this.
First off, I scoured the official WWE website. I went through their news section, checked out the Superstars page, and even browsed through their upcoming shows list. Sadly, I found nothing concrete about AJ Lee’s return. No announcements, no hints, nothing.

Next, I moved on to those wrestling news sites. You know, the ones that always have the inside scoop. I read tons of articles and rumors, but it was all just speculation. Some sites mentioned that there was “talk” backstage, while others claimed that she might show up as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble. But, nothing solid.
Social Media Hunt
- I stalked her social media profiles, of course. Twitter, Instagram, you name it.
- Most of her recent posts were about her writing and her advocacy work. Nothing about wrestling.
- I even looked at CM Punk’s accounts, thinking maybe there might be a clue there since they’re married. Nope, nothing there either.
My Thoughts
Honestly, it’s all pretty much hearsay at this point. There’s nothing really to confirm that AJ Lee is actually coming back to WWE in 2024. It seems like wishful thinking from fans, maybe fueled by some vague rumors.
Do I want her to come back? Absolutely! She was one of my favorites, and I think she could add a lot to the current women’s division. But, I’m not gonna get my hopes up until I see something official from WWE or AJ Lee herself.
I will keep my eyes peeled, though. I will continue to follow the news and see if anything new pops up. If I find anything, I’ll definitely share it with you guys. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and see.
So, I guess that’s my little investigation into the AJ Lee return rumors. I didn’t really find a definitive answer, but it was fun doing some digging.

In the end, it was kind of a bummer not to find any hard evidence. But, who knows? Maybe WWE is planning a huge surprise. Or maybe AJ Lee is perfectly happy with her life outside of wrestling. Either way, I’m still a fan, and I’ll always appreciate what she brought to the ring.
I hope that the situation changes in 2024 and that I can change my mind about my current findings. If not, that’s cool too. I’m just happy to have been a fan during her time in WWE.
