Alright, so I got curious the other day about LeBron James. I mean, the guy’s a legend, right? I was watching some old highlights and it got me thinking, “How tall was this dude when he first came into the NBA?” I figured I couldn’t be the only one wondering, so I dove in and decided to find out and record it here.

First things first, I needed some basic info. So, I started with a simple search. Just typed in “LeBron James NBA draft height”. I figured that would give me what i wanted.
Gathering the Info
The search results were pretty consistent. All over the place, it looked like.
- Most sites listed him at 6’8″ when he entered the league.
- Some mentioned 6’9″, but 6’8″ seemed to be the most common number.
I checked out a few different sources, you know, just to be sure. I looked at some sports websites, a couple of NBA pages,and it all seemed pretty much in agreement.
My conclusion
So, based on my little research project here, it looks like LeBron James was about 6’8″ tall when he entered the NBA. He might have grown a bit after that,I read that some places have him at 6’9″ now, but at the draft, 6’8″ seems to be the agreed-upon height.I think my curiosity about this question is satisfied!
