Well now, lemme tell ya, if ya start talkin’ about the top 100 wrestlers of all time, you’re gonna hear some mighty big names. I ain’t no expert, but I know a thing or two ’bout these fellas that get in the ring and put on a good show. So, let me spin ya a yarn ’bout some of the best folks who ever laid their boots in that squared circle.
Now, first off, there’s this fella named Stone Cold Steve Austin. Lord, that man knew how to get the crowd goin’! You’d see him stompin’ out with that beer can in his hand, givin’ that “hell yeah!” speech. The whole arena would roar. Folks say he made the Attitude Era what it was, and if you ask me, he sure did. You couldn’t find a bigger name in wrestling back in his prime, and he sure made a lotta folks believe in the magic of the WWE. And don’t forget, he could wrestle like no one’s business too. A real legend, that one!

Then there’s Hulk Hogan. Now, don’t you dare forget Hogan, he’s one of the originals, always struttin’ around with that big ol’ mustache and that “Hulkamania” runnin’ wild. That man was everywhere, from the ring to the big screen. I reckon he was the first true crossover star, makin’ folks from all walks of life tune into the wrestling show. Ain’t nobody forgot the way he slammed that big ol’ Andre the Giant down in front of all them folks. That was somethin’ special.
But hey, it ain’t just the old timers. There’s these new folks too, like Roman Reigns. Now, I don’t know how much ya keep up with the modern wrestling, but let me tell ya, Reigns is one heck of a guy. They call him the “Big Dog” sometimes, and that ain’t just for show. He’s been holdin’ that Universal Championship for what feels like forever! Ain’t nobody been able to take that belt off him for quite some time. Big guy, big moves, and a big ol’ presence in that ring.
And who could forget about The Undertaker? That man, he’s got a whole vibe about him, don’t he? Walkin’ out there slow as molasses with that eerie look, you just knew somethin’ big was comin’. His streak at WrestleMania? Well, that was somethin’ no one thought would ever end. But all good things come to an end, as they say. Still, there ain’t no one like him, not in a million years.
Now, there’s a bunch of others too, like Shawn Michaels – boy, that man could fly through the air like a bird. Some folks even call him the greatest of all time, and I ain’t here to argue with that. His matches were just somethin’ special. And don’t forget about folks like Triple H, who spent years buildin’ that empire in the WWE, or Chris Jericho, who kept reinventin’ himself and bringin’ new things to the table.
Oh, and let’s not leave out Randy Savage! That man, with his flashy robes and that “Ooooh yeah!” catchphrase, he was a real character. I remember watchin’ him and thinkin’ “now that’s a wrestler.” He was a showman, through and through. And let me tell ya, those high-flying elbows he did? Lord, they looked like they could knock a cow out cold! But no, it was just the way he moved, quick as a snake and powerful as a bull.

Now, I’m sure y’all heard of Ric Flair. Well, this fella is as close to royalty as it gets in the wrestling world. They call him the “Nature Boy,” and boy, he earned that name. With his fancy suits and that “Woooo!” that made folks scream along with him, Ric Flair was somethin’ special. You knew when he was in the ring, it was gonna be a show, and he didn’t disappoint. Not only could he wrestle, but he had the charisma to make people tune in, even if they didn’t know a headlock from a body slam.
And then there’s people like Bret Hart and Edge. These two, they had different styles but both knew how to make you care about what was happenin’ in that ring. Bret was all about the technical side, makin’ his moves so smooth you could hardly keep up. Edge, he was one of them that always kept you guessin’ what he was gonna do next. Whether it was his ladder matches or his surprises, Edge was always up to somethin’ good.
There’s a lotta folks on this list, and I’m sure I’m missin’ plenty more, but these are just a few that really stuck out in my mind when talkin’ about the top 100 wrestlers of all time. They all had somethin’ special about ’em, whether it was their strength, their skill, or just their ability to put on a show. At the end of the day, they all helped make wrestling what it is today – a mix of athleticism, drama, and pure entertainment. If you ask me, the top 100 list could go on forever, and we’d still be talkin’ about legends for days.
