Alright, so you wanna watch that there football game, huh? The NFL one, the one with all them fellas runnin’ around and smackin’ into each other. And you got that Dish thingy, right? Okay, okay, I think I can help ya out with that.
Now, see, it ain’t always the same channel, ya know? It changes. Like, sometimes it’s on one of them regular channels, like, whatchamacallit, FOX. But your FOX channel, that might be different than mine. See, they got different numbers dependin’ on where you live. So you gotta figure that one out yerself. Just flip through them channels ’til you see them fellas playin’.

- If it’s a Sunday night, that there Sunday Night Football, that’s usually on NBC. And they got this thing called Peacock too, whatever that is. Sounds like a bird to me.
- Then there’s that Monday Night Football. That one, they tell me, is always on ESPN.
But then, Dish, they got their own special channels just for football. See, they got this NFL Network. That’s channel 154 on Dish. They show all sorts of games there, I reckon. And then there’s this other one, 155, NFL RedZone. Now, that one, I hear, they jump around from game to game, showin’ ya all the good parts. So if a team’s about to score, they’ll show ya that. Sounds kinda dizzyin’ to me, but folks seem to like it.
So, let’s say it ain’t Sunday or Monday. And it ain’t on them special Dish channels. Well, then you gotta look for it on them regular channels. Like I said, FOX is one. And NBC, they got games sometimes too. Your NBC, that could be anythin’ from channel 2 to channel 70. I know, I know, it’s a lot. But that’s how they do it, them city folk. Always makin’ things complicated.
The best thing to do, honestly? Just look at the TV guide. You know, that thing that tells you what’s on. Or ask one of them young’uns. They always know how to work these gadgets. Me? I just like to watch the game, don’t care much about all this channel business.
But yeah, NFL Network, 154. NFL RedZone, 155. Sunday Night Football, NBC and that Peacock thing. Monday Night Football, ESPN. And then FOX and NBC for other games, but the channel numbers, well, that’s on you to figure out. That’s about all I know about watchin’ football on that Dish thing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about football’s made me hungry.
One more thing, them games, they always changin’ when they’re on. Sometimes they’re on in the afternoon, sometimes at night. And them fellas playin’, they change too. One week it’s one team, next week it’s another. So, always best to check that TV guide, like I said. Don’t want you sittin’ there waitin’ for a game that ain’t even gonna be on, now do ya? Alright, that’s it. I’m done talkin’ about this here football on the Dish. You go on now and find your game.
