Alright, so you wanna know who won that car race down in Charlotte, North Carolina? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s a bit of a story, not just one race, you see. There’s been a bunch of ’em.
This year, 2024, was a real humdinger! They had this Coca-Cola 600 race, and wouldn’t ya know it, some fella named Christopher Bell, yeah, that’s the one, he won it! But it wasn’t no easy win, no sir. The rain, it just came a-pourin’ down, and they had to cut the race short. Only 249 laps they did, instead of the whole 600. Can you imagine? All that fuss and then the rain comes and messes it all up. But Christopher, he was fast, real fast, and he got that win. That was his second win, they say.

Then there was this other race, I think they call it the ROVAL, you know, that part road course, part oval thingy. That fella, Kyle Larson, in that number 5 car, he just whipped everybody. Dominated, they said. He won that one, made it look easy, like he was just out for a Sunday drive. They say that was his 29th win, can you believe it? 29 times! That’s a whole lotta racin’ and winnin’, I tell ya.
- So, to recap, for the big Coca-Cola 600, it was Christopher Bell who won.
- And for that ROVAL race, Kyle Larson took home the prize.
Now, last year, 2023, was different. They have these championship races, you see, and it all comes down to the last one in Phoenix. And a fella named Joey Logano, he won that one. He beat out his own teammate, Ryan Blaney, it was a real close one. And that win, that got him the whole championship. So he was the big winner for the whole year, you know? They made a big fuss over him, all the cameras and whatnot.
It’s kinda confusin’, all these different races and winners. You got your regular races, then these special ones like the 600 and the ROVAL, and then the championship at the end of the year. It’s enough to make your head spin, I tell ya. But them fellas, they sure know how to drive. Fast as lightning, some of ’em.
And let me tell you, that Charlotte track, it’s somethin’ else. Big and fast, and them cars, they just roar around there. You can hear ’em a mile away, I bet. I’ve never been, myself, but I’ve seen it on the TV. Looks like a whole lotta fun, and a whole lotta danger too. Them cars gettin’ all banged up and sometimes even flippin’ over. Scary stuff.
So, yeah, that’s the story. Christopher Bell won the Coca-Cola 600 this year, Kyle Larson won the ROVAL race, and last year Joey Logano won the whole championship. It’s a lot to keep up with, that’s for sure. But that’s racin’ for ya. Always somethin’ happenin’, always someone new winnin’. Keeps things interestin’, I guess.

Next time, maybe we’ll talk about who won at some other place. Daytona, maybe? Or Talladega? Them are some fast tracks too, I hear.
But for now, that’s all I know about them Charlotte races. Hope it helps ya out, whoever you are.
