Alright, let’s talk about this here car racin’ thing, the one they had in Charlotte. Folks keep askin’, “who won that there NASCAR race?” Well, lemme tell ya, it was that feller, Kyle Larson. Yep, he sure did. Drove that number 5 car, a Chevrolet, they say.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these fancy cars, but from what I hear, this Larson fella, he was way ahead of everyone else. Beat ’em by a good bit, they say. Somethin’ like one and a half seconds. That’s a whole lot in racin’, I reckon. He led for a long time too, sixty-two laps or somethin’. Guess he was just faster than the rest of them boys. This race, they call it the Bank of America ROVAL 400. Sounds important, huh? Happened on a Sunday, over at that Charlotte Motor Speedway.

- Winner: Kyle Larson
- Car: No. 5 Chevrolet
- Race: Bank of America ROVAL 400
- Track: Charlotte Motor Speedway
They say this racin’ thing is part of some “playoffs.” Sounds complicated to me. Seems like some drivers get kicked out, and others move on. This time, they said Bowman, Cindric, Suarez, and Briscoe, they’re out. Done racin’ for the championship, I guess. Larson, he’s still in it, though. He’s movin’ on to the next round.
They got more races comin’ up, in places like Las Vegas, Homestead, and Martinsville. Then, the big one, the championship, that’s in Phoenix. A feller named Logano, he won there last year, they tell me. And this Reddick fella, he won one too. But this time, it was Larson’s turn in Charlotte.
This Charlotte track, it ain’t just a regular oval, like some of them. They call it a “road course,” which means it’s got all sorts of turns and twists. Heard tell of some New Zealander, Shane van Gisbergen, he’s good at them road courses. Won some races in a different kind of car, they call ’em “Xfinity.” But this time, it was all about Larson. He just took charge and nobody could catch him.
So, if you’re wonderin’ who won that NASCAR race in Charlotte, it was Kyle Larson, plain and simple. He beat everybody else and now he’s movin’ on in them playoffs. He locked up his spot in the Round of 8 they say. They were sayin’ somethin’ about how he had a “stress-free weekend.” Guess that means he wasn’t worried ’bout nothin’ but drivin’ fast.
And that’s about all I know about it. Racin’ cars ain’t my cup of tea, but folks seem to like it. They go fast, turn left, sometimes turn right, and somebody wins. This time, it was Kyle Larson. He won in Charlotte. He drove that number 5 Chevy, and he was the best that day. Now, whether he wins the whole championship, well, that’s another story for another time. It all comes down to them races in Las Vegas, Homestead, Martinsville, and finally Phoenix. But for now, Kyle Larson, he’s the one they’re all talkin’ about, the winner of that NASCAR race in Charlotte. He beat that feller Christopher Bell. Beat him good.
