Alright, so the other day I was just chilling, scrolling through some stuff online, and I bumped into this quiz thing. It was one of those “Which NBA player are you?” deals. You know, just for kicks. I’m not a huge basketball fanatic or anything, but I thought, “Why not?” Might be a laugh.
So, I clicked into it. First thing, it asked me a bunch of random questions. Stuff like, “What’s your style on the court?” or “How do you handle pressure?” I even saw one question like “c” or “a”, just letters! Pretty weird, huh? I just picked whatever felt right at the moment. No big strategy or anything, I answered them as honestly as I could.

There were other questions that popped up like “True or False?” I guessed some of these and moved on. Honestly, I was just breezing through it, not taking it too seriously. There was a part where it asked about when I got into something called “top shot”, and if it was mid-February or after. I don’t even know what that is, so I just selected an option at random.
Then it showed me some posts, arts, and cartoons. Some were pretty funny, I gotta admit. I scrolled through those for a bit, had a few chuckles. Then, it started throwing all these signs about “spiritual attacks” from some book. That was a bit out there for me, so I just skipped past that part.
After that, it switched to some hockey news about the Edmonton Oilers, with team scores and game updates. I don’t really follow hockey, so that was kind of a snooze fest. I skimmed through it, not really paying attention.
The last part was all about some “2BA” database thing. It said it’s a central product database for some industry. I guess it’s useful if you’re in that field, but it didn’t really apply to me. I just read what it was about since 2004 and moved on.
Anyway, after all that, it finally spit out my result. And you know what? It wasn’t even accurate! Not one bit! They said I am most like a player who is good at defense but I think I am more of an all-rounder. I laughed it off, though. It was just a silly online quiz, after all. But it got me thinking, these quizzes are all just for fun, right? They don’t really know anything about who we are.

Here’s a little list of what I did during the quiz:
- Clicked into the quiz out of curiosity.
- Answered random questions about my personality and preferences.
- Guessed on some “True or False” questions.
- Selected a random option about “top shot”.
- Scrolled through posts, arts, and cartoons.
- Skipped a section about spiritual attacks.
- Skimmed through hockey news.
- Read about a product database called “2BA”.
- Got a result that wasn’t accurate.
- Laughed it off and realized online quizzes are just for fun.
So, that was my little adventure with the NBA player quiz. It was a fun little distraction, even if the result was way off. Have you ever taken one of these quizzes? What did you think of it?
