Today, I was curious about which NFL team has the worst fans, so I did some digging. First, I checked out the social media following of different teams.
Turns out, as of November 2024, the New England team has a massive following, about 4.65 million fans! On the flip side, the Jacksonville Jaguars have the smallest following on Facebook and Twitter. But, you know, social media numbers don’t tell the whole story about the vibe at a live game.

Then I looked into regular season win-loss records. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently hold the lowest win-loss percentage at .406, with a record of 308–450–1 through 2023. And since they’re the newest team in the NFL, the Houston Texans have played the fewest games (338) and have the fewest wins (142).
But what about the fans themselves? After some searching, people online were talking about the Las Vegas Raiders fans. They’re known to be super loyal, but also pretty rowdy. Some folks say it’s a mix of their die-hard loyalty and, well, maybe getting a little too into the game.
Other Fan Bases
I saw a few people online say that the Philadelphia Eagles have some of the worst fans. And then some people think it is Dallas Cowboys. I guess it just depends on who you ask, right?
One survey I came across, from September 23, 2024, said that 20% of NFL fans think the Cowboys have the most annoying visiting fans. They’re apparently known for being loud.
So, it looks like there are some mixed opinions out there. Some people point to the Raiders for their rowdiness, while others say the Eagles or Cowboys fans are the worst.

- New England: 4.65 million fans on social media.
- Jacksonville Jaguars: Lowest social media following.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Lowest win-loss percentage (.406).
- Houston Texans: Fewest games played (338) and fewest wins (142).
- Las Vegas Raiders: Known for rowdy fans.
- Philadelphia Eagles: Considered by some to have the worst fans.
- Dallas Cowboys: Also considered to have some of the worst fans, especially when visiting other stadiums.
Honestly, every fanbase has its quirks, and it is all part of the fun of being an NFL fan! I just share what I found today with you all. Hope you enjoy it.
