Alright, so I wanted to get into WWE 2K24, right? I heard a lot of buzz around it and figured, why not give it a shot? First things first, I got the game installed on my console. It took a bit, you know, the usual downloading and installing updates stuff. Nothing too crazy, just had to wait it out.
Once I booted up the game, I jumped straight into the tutorial mode. Gotta learn the ropes, you know? I spent a good chunk of time just messing around with the controls, figuring out the basic moves, strikes, grapples, all that jazz. It was a bit overwhelming at first, with all the button combinations and timing, but I started to get the hang of it after a while.

After I felt like I had a decent grasp of the basics, I decided to dive into a few exhibition matches. I picked some of my favorite wrestlers and just started playing. I tried out different match types, like one-on-one, tag team, even a Royal Rumble! It was a blast, experimenting with different characters and their movesets.
- Playing Exhibition Matches: I chose my favorite wrestlers and jumped into various match types to get a feel for the game.
- Exploring the Roster: I went through the list of wrestlers, trying out different characters and learning their unique moves and finishers.
- Customization: I dug into the character customization, making minor changes to outfits.
Then I found out the creation suite! Oh boy, that was a rabbit hole. I spent hours, and I mean hours, creating my own wrestler. I tweaked every little detail, from the appearance to the entrance music and the moveset. It was so cool seeing my custom wrestler in action, though I’m still fine-tuning it.
Getting My Feet Wet
Of course, I also wanted to see what the online scene was like. I played a few online matches, and let me tell you, it’s a whole different ball game. People online are tough! I got my butt kicked a few times, but I also managed to pull off some surprising wins. It was intense, but it really pushed me to get better and learn some advanced techniques.
I also dabbled a bit in the MyRISE mode, which is like the career mode for your created wrestler. I started from the bottom, working my way up, winning matches, and making a name for myself. I really enjoyed the story aspect and the choices you get to make along the way. That’s still a work in progress.
There is a lot to discover in the game, but these are the first steps I took to play the game. I didn’t do anything too professional, I just followed the instructions and learned a lot about the game along the way. That’s the fun of it all.
