Alright, so the other day I was digging around for some cool boxing stats, you know, just killing time. And I stumbled upon this “greatest boxing record” thing. I got curious, so I decided to find out what all the fuss was about.
First, I hit up Google. You know, the usual suspects. Just typed in “greatest boxing record” and boom, a bunch of stuff popped up. Mostly articles and some forum discussions. Nothing too concrete, just people arguing, as usual.

So, after sifting through the search results, I started making a list of names that kept coming up. You got your usual suspects, I can show it to you:
- Floyd Mayweather Jr.
- Julio César Chávez
- Sugar Ray Robinson.
- Rocky Marciano
Then, I figured, “Hey, let’s check their actual records.” I went to a few different boxing websites, they have those fighter databases. I started plugging in the names, one by one, and looking at their win-loss-draw stats. It was kinda tedious, to be honest. Lots of numbers, lots of scrolling.
After spending a good chunk of time on that, I finally compiled all the data.It gave me a basic overview, I felt like I had a better grasp on who really had the claim on the record,at least numerically.
The End Result
Finally, I felt like I solved this case. It is really interesting, especially for some boxing fans like me.
