Okay, so the other day I was hanging out with my buddies, and we got into this whole debate about Switch Sports. Specifically, whether or not it had baseball. I was sure it didn’t, but my friend Mark swore up and down that it did. We went back and forth, it got a little heated, you know how it is. So, to settle it once and for all, I decided to just dive in and figure it out myself.
First, I grabbed my Switch and fired it up. I already own Switch Sports, so I went straight into the game. You know, scrolled through all the options: Volleyball, Badminton, Bowling, Soccer, Chambara, Tennis… Nope, no baseball. I felt pretty smug at this point, figuring I had Mark dead to rights.

But, just to be absolutely certain, I decided to double-check. I mean, maybe it was hidden in some sub-menu, or maybe it was something you had to unlock? You never know with these games.
Next step,I jumped online.I figured if I got update in future, there would be information,So I checked some forums, fan pages, you know, the usual spots. I spent a good while scrolling through posts and articles.
- I read some Nintendo news websites.
- I checked some gamer Q&A websites.
- I watched some Switch Sports videos.
Everything I found confirmed what I initially *,there is no Baseball in Switch Sports.
Conclusion of My Little Experiment
So, there you have it. I went through the game itself, checked all the menus, and did a bunch of online searching. The verdict? My buddy Mark was wrong. Switch Sports, at least for now, does not have baseball. I’m not gonna lie, I enjoyed proving him wrong. Maybe they’ll add it in a future update, who knows? But as of right now, if you’re looking to play baseball on your Switch, you’re gonna need a different game.
