Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into NBA 2K24 lately, and one question kept popping up: “Is there a franchise mode?” I mean, that’s the mode I live for – building a team, making trades, drafting rookies, the whole shebang. So, I decided to put on my detective hat and get to the bottom of this.
First, I fired up the game. Gotta start somewhere, right? I navigated through the menus, my eyes scanning for anything that screamed “Franchise.” I saw “MyCareer,” “MyTeam,” the usual suspects, but nothing was immediately obvious.

Then, I spotted something called “MyNBA.” Hmm, that sounded promising. I clicked on it, and bingo! A bunch of options popped up, including “MyNBA Eras,” “MyWNBA,” and something labeled “MyGM” and “MyLeague.”
My Exploration of “MyNBA”
MyGM sounded familiar so that the mode in previous 2k games. Also, MyLeague, this could be it. I remember MyLeague from old 2k game. I can build my own team here.
- MyNBA Eras: Seemed like I could play through different historical eras of the NBA. Awesome, but not quite what I was looking for at that moment.
- MyWNBA:This is the WNBA franchise mode. Great to have it, but I’m focused on the NBA side of things.
- MyGM: It is a mode that you can act like a General Manger of a team.
- MyLeague: This mode offers a ton of customization. You can control one team or all 30, change rules, pretty much create your dream NBA league.
So, yeah, long story short, NBA 2K24 does have a franchise mode. They call it “MyNBA,” and it’s packed with different ways to experience it. It’s not just one franchise mode. Whew! Now I can finally get back to building my dynasty. Game on!
