Well, now, let me tell ya ’bout them Houston Rockets from back in 2015. They was a basketball team, playin’ real good that season, ‘cept they didn’t quite win it all. Now, don’t get me wrong, they did a lot better than some teams. They finished the regular season with 41 wins and 41 losses, so it was right close. Coach Kevin McHale was the one in charge back then. He tried his best, but sometimes them things just don’t work out the way ya want.
Now, look here, in that 2015 season, the Rockets had some good players. There was James Harden, that fella was a real standout, scored a lot, and could do just ‘bout anything on that court. He played the shooting guard position and had that number 13 on his back. Then there was Dwight Howard, big fella, he played center. A man like that, ya don’t miss him on the court! He helped with them rebounds, but sometimes he had a bit of trouble with the free throws, y’know?

And don’t forget ‘bout Trevor Ariza. He was small forward, wore number 1. He could shoot from the outside and made a lot of them three-pointers. Then there was Clint Capela, a young fella who was picked in the first round of the 2014 draft. He wasn’t a starter at first, but he sure showed some promise as a center, especially when it came to blocking shots.
Other folks like Patrick Beverley was playin’ point guard, wearin’ number 2. He had that hustle and could get under the skin of the other team with his defense.
- James Harden: Shooting guard, number 13
- Dwight Howard: Center, number 12
- Trevor Ariza: Small forward, number 1
- Clint Capela: Center, number 15
- Patrick Beverley: Point guard, number 2
They had a pretty good run in the playoffs that year too, makin’ it to the Western Conference Finals. But they just couldn’t get past them Golden State Warriors. Them Warriors, they was a real tough team to beat, what with Stephen Curry and all. But still, the Rockets gave ‘em a run for their money, and that’s somethin’ to be proud of.
Now, let’s not forget, this team had a lot of ups and downs, but they did their best. They finished 8th in the Western Conference, which meant they got a shot at them playoffs. Ain’t too shabby when ya think about it. It was a good year for basketball, even if they didn’t win the big one.
