Alright, so you wanna know about this NASCAR qualifyin’ thing today, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it ain’t always easy to figure out. These fellas and their racin’ schedules, always changin’ things around. But I’ll try my best to explain it to ya like I understand it, ya know, plain and simple.
First off, they got these different races, like the Cup race, the Xfinity race, and that Brickyard 400. Each one has its own qualifyin’ time, see? Sometimes they race at this place called Martinsville, sometimes somewhere else. It’s enough to make your head spin!

Now, from what I hear, they were supposed to have some qualifyin’ today, Saturday. But hold on a minute, things get tricky. They say the qualifyin’ for the Cup race at Martinsville, that was supposed to be at 1 p.m. CT, that’s Central Time, ya know. But then they say you can’t even watch it on regular TV! Can you believe that? You gotta have that fancy NBC Sports app, or listen on the radio with that SiriusXM thing, or some other internet doo-dad. It’s all a bit much if you ask me.
- So, for Martinsville, you need that NBC Sports app, or SiriusXM, or *. Sounds complicated, doesn’t it?
- Then there’s the Xfinity race at Martinsville. They also had qualifyin’ today, Saturday. But they don’t say what time on here. Sneaky, ain’t they?
- And that Brickyard 400, the qualifyin’ for that was supposed to be today too, Saturday, July 20th. Again, no time given. They like to keep us guessin’, I reckon.
And wouldn’t you know it, sometimes they even postpone the races! Like that one time, they moved it to February 19th at 4 p.m. ET, that’s Eastern Time. Then another time, they moved it to August 19th at 11 a.m. ET. Makes it hard for a fella to keep track, I tell ya.
Now, if you wanna actually watch the races, not just the qualifyin’, they got this thing called Peacock. Sounds like a fancy bird, but it’s some kinda app or somethin’ where you can stream the races live. But again, you gotta pay for it, nothin’s free these days, huh?
Oh, and they got this championship thing goin’ on too. These fellas, Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, and Byron, they’re all racin’ for the championship. Gonna be a close one, I bet. And that Martin Truex fella, he’s retirin’ after this, so it’s his last race. Gonna be a big deal, I suppose.
So, to sum it all up, if you wanna know the exact time for qualifyin’ today, you gotta dig around a bit. Check that NBC Sports app, or the radio, or them websites. And be prepared for things to change, ’cause these racin’ folks, they change their minds more often than I change my socks! And if you wanna watch the races, get that Peacock thingamajig. It’s a whole lot of fuss, if you ask me, but folks seem to love it. They go racin’ around in circles, and we all get excited. Go figure!

And that’s all I know about this qualifyin’ today, so I hope that helps you. I probably missed something, being an old lady and all. Maybe you can ask one of those young folks, they know all about these computer things. But I tried my best, ya hear?
