Well, let me tell ya, I’m gonna show you how to draw them boxing gloves. Ain’t rocket science, just need a pencil and some paper, and you can do it too! You know, boxing gloves, them things they use in the ring, make a big old thump when they hit!
First, you gotta draw some shapes. Just simple stuff, nothing fancy. Think of it like this, one big blob for the main part of the glove, where the hand goes. Kinda like a mitten, but puffier. Yeah, puffy, like a cloud. Make it nice and round, not too pointy.

- Draw a big, round-ish shape for the hand part.
- Make it puffy, like a cloud.
- No pointy edges, keep it smooth.
Then, you gotta add the thumb part. That’s like another, smaller blob, stuck on the side. You know how your thumb sticks out? Same idea. Just draw it on there, kinda like a little sausage sticking out. Don’t make it too long, or it’ll look silly.
- Add a smaller, sausage-like shape for the thumb.
- Stick it on the side of the big shape.
- Don’t make the thumb too long!
Now, this is where it gets a little bit more tricky, but not too bad. We gotta make it look like it’s all laced up, you know, like them fancy shoes. Draw some lines down the middle of that big blob, but not all the way to the bottom, only like halfway. Then, you gotta make them criss-cross, like when you tie your shoes. Criss-cross, criss-cross, all the way down those lines you just drew.
- Draw some lines down that big puffy glove for the laces.
- Not too far down, just enough.
- Criss-cross them, back and forth.
Now, we gotta make it look like there’s a bit of a cuff at the bottom, where the wrist goes in. Just draw a couple of lines around the bottom, where your arm would go, like a bracelet. Two or three is good. Easy peasy, right? That’s the cuff.
Make sure them lines are connected, or it will look like they fallin’ off! Draw two or three lines down there. Keep them lines close together. The closer, the better.
- Draw lines at the bottom for the wrist part.
- Two or three lines is good.
- Like a bracelet, you know?
Alright, now you gotta do the other glove. ‘Cause you need two, right? Unless you’re a one-handed boxer, which I ain’t never seen! Just do the same thing all over again, but make it a mirror image. Like you’re looking in a mirror, see? So if the thumb was on the left on the first glove, it’s gotta be on the right for the second one.

Just flip it around. Like them pancakes, you flip them in the pan. Same idea. If the thumb was on this side, now it’s on that side. Makes sense, right? Mirror, mirror on the wall, who draws the best gloves of them all? Hopefully, you! Just make sure the gloves, they are facing each other. Like they are ready to fight!
- Draw the other glove now.
- Make it a mirror image of the first one.
- Flip it around like a pancake.
Okay, almost done! Now you can add some details if you want. Like, you can draw some lines on the puffy part to make it look like it’s all padded and stuff. Or you can write something on ’em. Like “POW!” or “BAM!” Whatever you want, it’s your drawing! You can even draw a little person wearin’ them, ready to box. That might be fun, huh?
And don’t forget to color ’em in! Red is a good color for boxing gloves, I reckon. Or maybe blue. Or black! Heck, you can make ’em rainbow colored if you want! It’s up to you! Just have fun with it, that’s the main thing. Drawing ain’t supposed to be a chore, it’s supposed to be fun! So get those crayons or colored pencils out, and get to work!
Them fancy artists, they might use shading and all that fancy stuff, but we ain’t fancy. We are keepin’ it simple. Just color it in, nice and neat. Or messy! Whatever floats your boat, as they say. No need to color inside the lines. This ain’t no coloring book contest! Just have a good time with it.
- Color them gloves in!
- Red, blue, black, any color you like.
- Have fun! That’s the important part.
There ya go! You drew some boxing gloves! See? I told ya it was easy. Now you can go show all your friends, and they’ll be mighty impressed. They will all want you to teach them, and you can say, “Well, an old lady taught me that, told me how to draw boxing gloves, simple as that!” And they won’t believe it! But you’ll know the truth, won’t ya? Now go on, get to drawing! And remember, have fun! That’s what it’s all about. Drawing them gloves, it ain’t about being perfect, it is about having a good ol’ time.
