Well, let me tell you, this here thing called GTA 5, it’s got all sorts of things you can do. One of them is playin’ tennis. Yeah, that’s right, tennis! Now, I ain’t no expert, but I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it, and I figured I’d tell ya what I know.
First off, you gotta do somethin’ called a “mission”. They call it “Complications”. Sounds complicated to me, but once you get that done, you can play all the tennis you want. Just gotta get through that first, I reckon. Don’t ask me how to do the mission, I don’t know about that kind of thing, just what I heard.
They say there’s like, eight places you can play this tennis. Eight! Can you believe it? And you can even choose how many games you wanna play. Like, you can say “I wanna play one game” or “I wanna play five games”. It’s up to you, I guess.
They say you can even choose how good the other fella playin’ against ya is. You want someone who ain’t so good, you can do that. You want someone who’s real good, well, you can do that too. Just be prepared to lose, maybe.
Now, here’s somethin’ that’s real interestin’. They say you can win money playin’ this tennis! Imagine that, gettin’ paid to play a game. I don’t know how much, but it’s somethin’, I suppose. More money to buy whatever in the game I guess.
Some folks, they been sayin’ that this tennis thing is “bugged”. I don’t know what that means, exactly. Sounds like somethin’s wrong with it. They say sometimes you just gotta wait. Just sit there and wait, and it’ll start up on its own. Seems silly to me, but what do I know?
They say it’s been bugged since this whole GTA 5 thing came out. Imagine that, somethin’ bein’ broke for that long.
Other folks say maybe you’re playin’ against someone who’s got somethin’ called “high ping”. I don’t know what that is either. Sounds like some kind of internet problem. If you’re playin’ with someone far away, maybe that’s the problem. Some people say, if the ping is too high, it will influence the tennis game, that’s wired.
Now, how do you actually start playin’ this tennis? Well, they say you can do it through your phone. You know, that little thing you use to make calls and whatnot. There’s a menu on there, and you can use that to start playin’.
Or, if you don’t wanna use the phone, you can just go to where the tennis is. They got these places marked out, and you just walk into this circle thing, and that’ll start it up too.
Then, it’ll show you this other menu. And that’s where you can set things up, like how many games you wanna play and who you wanna play with. You can even invite people, I think.
Some folks say tennis in the game is fun. They say it’s a good way to relax, you know, after doin’ all those other things in the game. It is a good recreation. Like robbin’ banks and whatnot.

I heard someone say somethin’ about a tennis racket. They were talkin’ ’bout how it killed someone’s parents. I don’t know about all that. Sounds like a tall tale to me.
If you want to unlock the game, I think you need to finish the mission first. Then you can play tennis. Remember to pick a match length, I heard the longest match length is boring.
Now, I think they said somethin’ about pressin’ a button. If you got one of them Xbox things, you press “A”. And if you got one of them PlayStation things, you press “X”. And there you have it. That’s how you get into the tennis in GTA 5. Hope it helps, good luck!
