Alright, let’s talk about who won that there NASCAR race, you know, the one with all them fast cars. Folks keep askin’ and it gets confusing, so I figured I’d set it straight, best as I can.
Joey Logano, he’s a name you hear a lot. Seems like he wins a bunch. They said he won at Phoenix, and that was a big deal, championship and all. He also won in Las Vegas, so he’s been doin’ alright, that boy. He’s driving that there number 22 car.

- Phoenix Winner: Joey Logano
- Las Vegas Winner: Joey Logano
Now, there’s this other fella, Ryan Blaney. He’s been winnin’ too. Heard he won at Martinsville, not once but twice in a row! That’s somethin’ ain’t it? They say he also won another race, but darned if I can remember which one. Oh, and he almost won at Homestead but lost out right at the end to that Tyler fella. He’s been drivin’ real good though. They even said he was in a must-win situation at Martinsville, and wouldn’t you know it, he won. That boy’s got some grit, I tell ya.
Tyler Reddick, he’s another one. He won that Homestead race, beat Blaney right at the last lap, sneaky like. Don’t know much else about him, but he’s fast, that’s for sure.
- Martinsville Winner: Ryan Blaney
- Homestead Winner: Tyler Reddick
Then there’s Denny Hamlin. He won at Richmond, that Toyota Owners 400 they call it. Richmond, that’s in Virginia, not too far from here, relatively speakin’. He’s been around a while, that Denny. Knows how to drive, that’s for certain.
Daniel Suarez, now he almost won a race. Came in second, they said. That’s pretty good, almost as good as winnin’. He did win one earlier in the year though, at Atlanta. That one was a real close one, they said, closest in history. So, he’s a good driver too, just not always the winner.
- Richmond Winner: Denny Hamlin
- Atlanta Winner: Daniel Suarez
So, you see, it ain’t just one fella winnin’ all the time. There’s Logano, Blaney, Reddick, Hamlin, Suarez… lots of ‘em. And they race all over the place. Phoenix, Las Vegas, Martinsville, Homestead, Richmond, Atlanta… Hard to keep track, I tell ya. They go round and round them tracks, and sometimes it’s Logano, sometimes it’s Blaney, sometimes it’s someone else entirely.

They got this thing called the Championship 4, and Logano was in it, and Blaney too. And that William Byron fella, they said he was in it too, and that Tyler Reddick. That means they’re the best of the best, the ones racin’ for the big prize at the end. Logano won that championship at Phoenix, so he must have been the best that year, at least that’s what they say. But Blaney, he won that Martinsville race right before, so he was good too.
It all gets confusing, all these races and names. They got these playoffs too, where some drivers get knocked out. Poor fellas like Bowman, Cindric, Suarez, and Briscoe, they got knocked out. Didn’t make it to the championship round. Tough luck, I guess.
NASCAR, that’s what they call it, this racin’ business. It’s a big deal, lots of folks watch it. They drive them fast cars and go in circles. Sometimes they crash, that’s scary. But mostly they just go fast and try to win. And sometimes, like I said, it’s Logano, sometimes it’s Blaney, sometimes it’s someone else. Just depends on the day, I reckon.
So next time someone asks who won, you can tell ‘em. You can say Logano won at Phoenix and Vegas, Blaney won at Martinsville, Reddick won at Homestead, Hamlin won at Richmond, and Suarez won at Atlanta. And you can tell ‘em about the Championship 4 and how them fellas race for the big prize. And you can tell ‘em it ain’t easy to win, cause there’s a whole bunch of fast drivers out there tryin’ to do the same thing. It’s a lot to remember, I know, but that’s the gist of it, best I can explain it.
