Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about them football stadiums, the ones where them fellas play that fancy game with the pigskin. You know, the NFL. Some of them stadiums, they got these heated fields. Fancy, I tell ya, real fancy.
So, which ones got ’em? Well, there’s a few. Them Steelers, they got one. You know, the ones from Pittsburgh. And them Chiefs over in Kansas City, they got a warm field too. Can’t have them boys freezin’ their butts off, I guess. Them Packers up in Green Bay, they got one too. Yeah, even though they call their field the “Frozen Tundra,” it ain’t so frozen underneath, see? The Eagles down in Philadelphia, they got a heated field, and so do the Broncos in Denver.

Now, them football fellas, they like playing on real grass. Says it’s safer. Makes sense, I reckon. Falling on that hard plastic stuff can’t be good for your bones. But not all teams use real grass, you know. Heck, more than half of ’em don’t! About 14 outta 32 teams, they use that fake grass. Some use a mix of real and fake, but mostly it’s that fake stuff.
And speaking of stadiums, some are inside, some are outside. You got yer domes, you got yer open-air stadiums. About 10 of ’em are covered up, some with roofs that can open and close. Fancy, ain’t it?
- Heated Fields: Steelers, Chiefs, Packers, Eagles, Broncos
- Grass vs. Artificial Turf: More teams use artificial turf than real grass.
- Indoor vs. Outdoor: Some stadiums are indoors or have retractable roofs.
Now, the smallest stadium, that’s Soldier Field in Chicago. Holds about 61,500 folks. Not a whole lot, if you ask me. Then there’s that State Farm Stadium in Arizona, that’s the second smallest. They had that Super Bowl there last year, Super Bowl 57. A lot of folks went to that game, lemme tell ya, about 67,000 or so.
You wanna know who’s gonna be in them playoffs this year? Well, you gotta keep an eye on the standings. See who’s winnin’ and who’s losin’. Every team plays a bunch of games, and they try to make it to the playoffs. That’s where the real excitement is, I tell ya.
And don’t forget, all them 32 teams, they already know who they’re gonna play next year. Schedules are all set. You can find that info online, if you know how to work them computery things. I sure don’t, but my grandkids do. They can find anything on that internet, even what time the games are on and which channel to watch.

So, there you have it. A little bit about them NFL stadiums. Heated fields, grass or no grass, indoor or outdoor, it’s all part of the game. And if you wanna be a good fan, you gotta keep up with all the news and scores and whatnot. It’s a lot to keep track of, but that’s what makes it fun, right?
Just remember, football is a rough game. Them fellas are tough, running and hitting each other. It’s entertaining, I’ll give ya that, but I wouldn’t want my grandbabies out there gettin’ all beat up. Still, it’s fun to watch on the TV. Especially when your team is winning!
So next time you’re watchin’ a game, remember all this stuff. Think about them heated fields, them fancy stadiums, and all the hard work them fellas put in. It’s more than just a game, you know. It’s a whole big thing. And that’s all I gotta say about that.
