Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Batista, and whether he’s comin’ back to that wrestlin’ thing, WWE, in 2024. You know, the big guy, looks like he could wrestle a bear and win.
Is Batista gonna wrestle again? Well, I heard tell he said he’s done. Said he had a good ending, a “fairytale ending” they call it, at some big show, WrestleMania 35, was it? And he don’t wanna mess that up. Sounds like he’s happy as a clam, ain’t got no itch to get back in the ring.
Now, this fella, he ain’t just wrestlin’ no more. He’s in them movies now, playin’ a fella named Drax, in some spaceman movie. “Guardians of the Galaxy,” they call it. Seems he’s doin’ alright for himself, makin’ good money, I reckon. Why would he go back to gettin’ slammed on the mat, huh? Makes no sense to me.

- He’s got that movie thing goin’ on.
- And he’s gettin’ on in years, ain’t he? Can’t be flippin’ around like them young whippersnappers forever.
But then, you hear things, you know? Folks whisperin’, sayin’ maybe he’ll come back for a special occasion, like that 1000th episode of somethin’ called SmackDown. They say he went back there before, but with other folks. And there was talk of him maybe comin’ back ’cause he put some video online, got people thinkin’. But that don’t mean nothin’ now, does it? Folks always gossipin’. I seen him wrestle them fellas, Randy Orton, Triple H, and that old timer Ric Flair, good matches they were, but that was a long time ago.
Now, some of these wrestlers, they sign contracts, you see. Like this fella Kevin Owens, he signed a new one in 2022. And that big ol’ Brock Lesnar, he got a special deal, shows up when he wants, I guess. Makes you wonder if Batista had a contract like that, but I ain’t heard nothin’ about it. Seems like he just up and quit, said he was done. And good for him, I say. He had that last match with that buddy of his, the one who runs things now, the COO or somethin’.
So, will he be back in 2024? I ain’t holdin’ my breath. Sounds to me like he’s moved on to bigger and better things. He wants that perfect ending, he said. And who can blame him? Wrestlin’ is a tough business, beats you up somethin’ awful. He’s retired now, done and dusted, that’s what I say. You hear about other fellas comin’ back, The Rock, and that Goldberg fella, always poppin’ up, but Batista seems different. He seems done for good.
But hey, you never know. Money talks, they say. Maybe if they offer him enough, he’ll put them tights back on. But I doubt it. He seems like a stubborn fella, set in his ways. So, my guess? Don’t expect to see Batista in the WWE in 2024. He’s probably sittin’ on his porch somewhere, sippin’ sweet tea and countin’ his money.
That’s all I got to say about that. These wrestlers, they come and go, but life goes on. Batista had his time, and now it’s someone else’s turn. And that’s just the way it is.
