Okay, so today I really wanted to find out the score of the Nebraska baseball game. I’m a huge fan, but I couldn’t watch the game live. So, here’s how I went about figuring it out:
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up the browser. I figured the easiest way would be to just Google it. I typed in “Nebraska baseball game score” into the search bar.
The search results popped up, and there were a bunch of different websites listed. I saw a few sports news sites I recognized, but I decided to go with the official NCAA website because it felt like the most reliable source.
I clicked on the NCAA link, and it took me to a page with a whole bunch of college baseball scores. It was a little overwhelming at first, but I spotted a menu where I could filter the results by team.
I selected “Nebraska” from the team list, and bam! There it was, the most recent game with the score displayed clear as day. I won’t bore you with all of the details of it, but let me tell you, it was a nail-biter! It was not a good ending.
I also noticed that the NCAA site had a schedule for upcoming games. I quickly scanned through it and made a mental note of when the next game is. I definitely don’t want to miss that one.
Finding the score was pretty straightforward, but it got me thinking about how much easier it is to get information these days. It used to be that you had to wait for the evening news or the newspaper to find out sports scores. Now, it’s all right at your fingertips.
