Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out who won the Arkansas baseball game today. I’m a huge fan, and I kinda missed the game. First thing I did was pull out my phone and start searching.
I typed in “Arkansas baseball game today” into the search bar, and I started to browse through the results. I saw a bunch of headlines, but nothing that immediately gave me the answer. It’s kinda annoying when they do that, you know? They just tease you with the headlines.

Checking Out the Headlines
One headline I spotted said something like, “Arkansas baseball opens life in the SEC with a series win over Missouri. Today, it goes for the sweep.” It sounds like they were playing Missouri, and it was the last game of the series. They were trying to go for a sweep, which means winning all the games in the series. Cool, cool. But it doesn’t tell me who won today’s game.
- Another result was about some pitcher named Brady Tygart. It said, “Arkansas baseball’s Brady Tygart fires a pitch during the Razorbacks 15-5 win over James Madison during Opening Weekend.” Okay, that’s interesting, they won big against James Madison, but that was during Opening Weekend, not today.
- Then I saw another one: “FINAL: Florida 9.” Nine what? Nine runs? Was that the final score? Did they play Florida? So many questions! It doesn’t say who they played, just “FINAL: Florida 9.” My heart started to sink a little, did we lose?
- Finally, I saw something that looked promising. “Arkansas players celebrate after the Razorbacks’ victory over Ole Miss on Wednesday night at the College World Series in Omaha.” Victory! Okay, that’s good. But this was from Wednesday night, and at the College World Series. That doesn’t tell me anything about today’s game.
Still No Answer!
I had to do some more digging. After some serious searching and putting together the pieces from various articles, I figured out that they were playing the final game of a series against Missouri. It looks like they’d already won the first two games, so they were going for the sweep. That Brady Tygart guy is a pitcher for the team, and the 15-5 win was from a previous game. And the “FINAL: Florida 9” headline? I finally figured out that they must have lost. Gosh, what a mess. I was so bummed. I wish they’d just put the score in the headline! So, the Razorbacks did not win, which means the sweep was off the table. Bummer.
So, that’s how I figured out who won the Arkansas baseball game today, or rather, that they lost today. It took a bit of work, but I got there in the end. I should probably just try to catch the games live next time!
