Alright, so today I was kinda curious about Mike Tyson’s boxing record. Specifically, I wanted to know how many times the guy actually lost a professional fight. I mean, he’s “Iron Mike,” right? You always picture him just destroying everyone. So, I decided to dig in and find out.

First, I just did a simple search. Typed in “Mike Tyson losses” to see what would pop up. You know, the usual lazy approach.
The search results came back pretty quick, all pointing to the same numbers.
Okay, so it looks like Tyson had a few losses. The number that kept showing up everywhere was 6. Six losses in his entire professional career.
- Buster Douglas – Yep, the famous one.
- Evander Holyfield – He lost to Holyfield twice! I kinda forgot about that.
- Lennox Lewis – Another big name.
- Danny Williams – Had to look this one up.
- Kevin McBride – This was apparently his last fight.
So, there you have it. Mike Tyson, the legend, lost six professional boxing matches. It’s still pretty amazing when you think about how dominant he was for so long.
