Alright, so you wanna know what channel the NASCAR races are on today, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it ain’t always so simple. These things, they jump around more than a flea on a hot skillet!
Sometimes, you’ll find ’em on that NBC. Yep, that’s the one with the peacock. But then, other times, they might be on USA Network. Don’t ask me why, they just do. It’s like they like to make things confusing for us old folks.

And then there’s this Fubo thing. My grandson, he’s always talkin’ about it. Says you can watch the races on it, on your phone or your computer. Sounds like witchcraft to me, but he says it works. You can even try it for free for a week, he says. Seven days! That’s enough time to watch a whole lotta racin’, I reckon.
But hold on, there’s more! Sometimes, especially when them fellas are racin’ at night, like that Bass Pro Shops Night Race in Bristol, you might have to look for it on a different channel. My neighbor, she said she saw it on the FS2 channel once. And sometimes, they even put them races on somethin’ called Peacock. You gotta pay for that one, though, my grandson says. It’s part of that NBC, I think. Confusin’, ain’t it?
- NBC: Sometimes they show the races, especially the big ones, like the championship.
- USA Network: Another place to look, especially for those playoff races.
- Fubo: That’s the one you can watch on your phone or computer, they say. And you can try it for free!
- FS2: For some of them truck races, and maybe others too.
- Peacock: If you wanna pay extra, you can watch it on here.
- CW: Some races are even on this one. I don’t even know what this CW is but my grandson showed me.
Now, about the time. That’s another thing that changes all the time. Sometimes they start in the afternoon, like around 2 p.m. But then, other times, they don’t start until 6 p.m. or even later. It depends on where they’re racin’, I guess. Like that Cook Out Southern 500 in Darlington, that one starts around 6 p.m. Eastern Time. And the one in Bristol, that Bass Pro Shops Night Race, it starts around 6:30 p.m. Central Time. See? Always changin’! It’s hard to keep track of it all. They should just pick one time and stick to it, if you ask me.
And don’t even get me started on them different series. You got your Cup Series, that’s the big one. Then there’s the Xfinity Series. My grandson likes to watch those cause that Dale Earnhardt Jr. fella races in ‘em sometimes. And then there’s the Craftsman Truck Series. All on different channels, sometimes! It’s enough to make your head spin!
So, if you wanna know for sure what channel the NASCAR race is on today, you gotta check your TV guide or that internet thingy. Or ask your grandson, he probably knows. They always seem to know these things, them young’uns. But be warned, it ain’t always easy to figure out. They like to make it complicated, just to keep us on our toes, I reckon. But hey, at least the racin’ is good, right? That’s all that matters in the end.

And don’t forget, if you are in Canada, sometimes you can watch the races on TSN. Or you can listen to it on the radio. They have somethin’ called the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. So, you got plenty of options, even if you can’t find it on TV. Just gotta know where to look, that’s all.
Anyways, that’s about all I know about what channel the NASCAR races are on today. It ain’t always easy to figure out, but with a little bit of lookin’ around, you’ll find it eventually. Happy watchin’!
