Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little experiments. So, I’ve been watching a ton of NFL lately, right? And I couldn’t help but notice something kinda weird. All these coaches, they’re all wearing the same brown hoodies. At first, I was like, “What’s the deal with these brown hoodies?”
I got curious, you know? I started digging around, doing a bit of research. Turns out, it’s all part of this thing called “Salute to Service” that the NFL does. They do it every November. Basically, it’s a way for the league to show some love and respect to the military, veterans, and their families. Pretty cool, right?

The whole thing is organized around Veterans Day, which is November 11th. So, I looked into it a bit more. I saw some articles about it, one was talking about some “Astute NFL viewers” noticing this trend on the sidelines. The NFL, they’re all about uniformity, so it makes sense they’d have everyone wearing the same thing for this.
So, I went on this whole journey, reading articles, and trying to figure out where these hoodies came from. It was a whole thing. I found one piece talking about the “rise” and “meaning” of the brown hoodie. They even had “tips” and “expert” advice. It was kinda funny, to be honest.
I even found one that was going on about “style, comfort, and team spirit.” That made me chuckle a little. But hey, I get it. It’s a nice gesture, and it looks pretty unified on the sidelines. Anyway after all that, I just wanted to share my little adventure with you guys. I know it’s not my usual deep dive, but I thought it was interesting.
Here’s what I did, step by step:
- First, I noticed all the coaches wearing the same brown hoodies during NFL games.
- Then, I started searching online to find out why they were wearing them.
- I read a bunch of articles and posts about the “Salute to Service” initiative.
- I learned that it’s a way for the NFL to honor military members and veterans.
- I dove a little deeper to try and find out how it started.
- I discovered that the whole thing is tied to Veterans Day.
- Finally, I decided to share my little investigation with all of you.
And that’s it! It was a fun little rabbit hole to go down. It’s cool to see the NFL doing something like this. Makes you appreciate the game and the people who serve our country a little bit more. That is all for today’s sharing. See y’all next time!
