Alright, so you wanna know ’bout that NASCAR race, huh? When it’s on TV and all that stuff. Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t rocket science, ya hear?
First off, them races, they like to jump around on different channels. Sometimes they’re on Fox, sometimes on FS1. And then there’s NBC and that USA Network, too. Seems like they can’t make up their minds! So, ya gotta pay attention, or you’ll miss it.
Now, if you got one of them cable thingamajigs, you’re probably good to go. Just flip through them channels ‘til you find it. But if you’re like me and don’t wanna pay for all that fancy stuff, there’s other ways, I hear.
- Some folks say you can watch it online, too. Something called “streaming.” Sounds complicated, but I guess it ain’t so bad.
- They got these things like “DirecTV Stream” and “fuboTV.” And they give you a free trial, they say. So you can watch the race for free, then quit before they start chargin’ ya. Smart, ain’t it?
I heard tell that this past weekend, the big race was on NBC. That was the Championship race, see? A fella named Logano, he won it. Beat out another fella, Blaney. Said he almost ran outta time, but he made it. Good for him, I say.
So, to find the race, you gotta look for “NASCAR on USA” or somethin’ like that. That’s what they call it when NBC is showin’ it. They like to make things confusing, don’t they?
If you’re up in Canada, I think it’s on TSN. And for them folks overseas, somewhere called Premier Sports 2 or Viaplay, but ya might gotta pay for that, I don’t rightly know.
Now, about the time. They usually start ‘round 3 p.m., Eastern Time, that is. But they always got them pre-race thingies, so you might wanna tune in a little early if you wanna see all that.
So, there ya have it. Check Fox, FS1, NBC, or USA. Look for free trials online if you ain’t got cable. And it’s usually on around 3 p.m. But things change, ya know? So keep your ears open and your eyes peeled.
And one more thing, this here is just a guide. Things change, like I said. So, best thing to do is check your local listings or one of them TV guides. They’ll tell ya for sure. Don’t come cryin’ to me if you miss the race!
This whole thing about watchin’ TV, it’s gotten mighty complicated. Back in my day, we had three channels and that was it! Now you got a hundred different ways to watch and it’s all a big mess. But that’s progress, I guess. Or so they say.
Just remember, keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, and you’ll find that race. And if you don’t, well, there’s always next time. It ain’t the end of the world, ya know.
