You askin’ if that Chris Jericho fella is in the WWE Hall of Fame? Well, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. That Jericho, he’s a big name, ain’t he? Wrestled for all them places, ECW, WCW, and then WWE. He’s been around the block a few times, that’s for sure.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this wrasslin’ stuff, but I tell ya what, he sure did win a whole heap of them championship belts. Heard he even won the big one, the WWE Championship. And some other one, the World Heavyweight Championship, sounds fancy, don’t it? My neighbor’s boy, Timmy, he used to watch that all the time. He done tell me Jericho is the best.
But here’s the thing, seems like he ain’t in that Hall of Fame thingy yet. Now why is that? Some say he is workin’ for that other wrasslin’ group now, AEW, or somethin’ like that. I don’t know all the details, but it’s all a bit of a mess, ain’t it? It’s like when old man Johnson’s prize-winning rooster got into the neighbor’s hen house, caused a whole ruckus.
They say that Jericho, he done won some other awards. Something called the “Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame.” I heard he got in there back in 2010. Ten years, that’s a long time. I remember back in 2010, we had that big storm, knocked out the power for three days.
But this WWE Hall of Fame, that’s a different story. They got all sorts of folks in there. That Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, Thunderbolt Patterson, Lia Maivia. Even that boxer, Muhammad Ali, he’s in there somehow, in some “Celebrity” part. They all got in this year, 2024. Time sure does fly, don’t it?
Seems like to get into that WWE Hall of Fame, you gotta be somethin’ special. I mean, they ain’t just lettin’ any old body in there. This Jericho, he had all them belts. The Undisputed WWF Championship, that WCW/World Championship, and that World Heavyweight Championship a few times. Sounds like a big deal to me.
- He won the Undisputed WWF Championship once.
- He won the WCW/World Championship twice.
- He won the World Heavyweight Championship three times.
But, I heard that Jericho fella talkin’ on one of them internet shows. He was on with that Chris Van Vliet fella, “INSIGHT” or somethin’ it was called. He sure was talkin’ a lot about wrasslin’. Anyway, Jericho, he said he ain’t interested in that WWE Hall of Fame. Can you believe it?
Now, I don’t know why he’d say that. Maybe he’s just stirrin’ the pot, like when my sister used to hide my good shoes before church. Or maybe he’s just happy where he is, wrasslin’ for that AEW. He seems like one of those fellas who likes to do things his own way, just like that old mule we used to have. Stubborn as all get out.
But you look at all he’s done. ECW, WCW, WWE, all them championships. That WWE Championship, that World Heavyweight Championship. He’s had a big career in the WWE. It is kinda strange he ain’t in their Hall of Fame yet.
Some folks say he should be in there, no question. They say he’s earned it. He had a big career in the WWE. Others say, well, he’s with AEW now, so maybe that’s why. It’s all a big mess, like I said. Like when them squirrels got into the attic and chewed up all the Christmas decorations.
I guess only time will tell if that Chris Jericho ever makes it into the WWE Hall of Fame. Maybe he will, maybe he won’t. It’s like waitin’ for the rain in July, you just never know. But one thing’s for sure, he’s made a name for himself in that wrasslin’ world. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it?
Maybe one day we will see Chris Jericho in the WWE Hall of Fame. But now he is not. He is in AEW now. I don’t know when will he be in the WWE Hall of Fame. But he sure did win a lot of belts. The WWE Championship and that other one.
