This here WWE thing, it’s got folks all riled up, I tell ya. They holler and scream like it’s the end of the world! That WWE Draft, you see it on the TV, all them big fellas jumpin’ around. Is it all for real, or is it just a bunch of baloney?
Is that WWE Draft Scripted, or What?
Well, I heard some folks talkin’, sayin’ it ain’t all on the up and up. They say it’s scripted, like them soap operas my neighbor Martha watches. She’s glued to that thing, I swear! This WWE draft, they pick these wrestlers, put ’em on different teams, Raw and SmackDown, I think they call ’em. But some folks say it’s all decided beforehand. Like a dang play!
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I seen a thing or two in my day. You can’t fool an old timer like me. It seems to me, some of these matches, they’re planned out. These fellas, they’re strong as bulls, but they seem to know what’s comin’ next. And that NXT, that’s where they get them young ones. They are eligible to be picked too. Is WWE draft scripted? I think so.
- They jump and flip, like they got springs in their boots.
- They slam each other down, but they don’t seem to get hurt too bad.
- Sometimes, they even talk to each other, like they’re plannin’ somethin’.
It’s all a big show, I reckon. Like them Hollywood movies, full of make-believe. But folks sure do love it! My grandson, Billy, he’s crazy about it. He watches it all the time, imitates them wrestlers. Drives his mama crazy!
Wrestling Ain’t a Real Sport?
Now, I heard this fella, some big shot named Vince, he said a while back that this wrestling ain’t a real sport. He said it’s all for show, like a theater. Can you believe that? All them years, people thinkin’ it was a real fight, and it turns out to be just actin’!
But you gotta give ’em credit, them wrestlers, they work hard. They gotta be strong and tough to do all them moves. They say sometimes they get hurt, even though it’s all planned out. That’s gotta be rough, pretendin’ to fight and still gettin’ banged up.
So, is WWE draft scripted? Seems like it, from what I hear. It’s all a big story, they say. They write it all out, who’s gonna win, who’s gonna lose. Just like a book! But it sure is entertainin’, I’ll give ’em that.
- They got these storylines, like who’s the good guy and who’s the bad guy.
- They got these feuds, where two wrestlers pretend to hate each other.
- It’s all to keep folks watchin’, I suppose.
It reminds me of them old-timey traveling shows, the ones that used to come through town with the strongman and the bearded lady. Folks knew it wasn’t all real, but they went anyway, just for the fun of it.
Is WWE Fake or Real, Then?
Well like I said it is like Hollywood, it is not real fight. But it is also scripted like Hollywood. So it is fake like Hollywood, not real at all.
WWE, it’s kind of the same thing, I reckon. It’s not a real sport, but it’s real entertainment. People love it, and that’s all that matters, I guess. It’s a way to escape from the everyday troubles, just like them soap operas.
And them wrestlers, they’re like actors, playin’ a part. They’re good at it, too. They make you believe it’s real, even when you know it’s not. That’s a talent, I’ll say that much!
So, if you’re wonderin’ is WWE Draft scripted, the answer is probably yes. But don’t let that spoil your fun. Just sit back, enjoy the show, and don’t take it all too seriously. It is just for fun. It’s like a big ol’ story, full of action and drama. And who doesn’t love a good story?
My Billy, he still thinks it’s real. He gets so excited watchin’ it. I ain’t gonna tell him any different. Let him have his fun. There’s enough hard truths in this world already. Sometimes, a little make-believe is just what the doctor ordered. That WWE draft, it’s all part of the show. Just enjoy it for what it is, a good time. A fake good time, but still a good time. Those Raw and SmackDown are full of those fake fights. It is not real, but it is fun to watch I guess.
