Well now, I reckon you’ve heard about them Florida State Seminoles and their 2013 football season, right? Them boys got a lot of folks talkin’, I’ll tell ya. So, if you’re curious ’bout where them players line up, you come to the right place. I’m here to share with ya the 2013 depth chart for the Florida State Seminoles football team, so you can know who’s playin’ where and all that.
Now, first thing I gotta say is that this here depth chart, it’s a big deal. It shows you where every player’s standin’, from the starting folks down to them backups. It’s like a big ol’ family reunion where everyone’s got their place, y’know? And I’m here to walk ya through it, so let’s get to it.

Quarterbacks
Well, the big name here is Jameis Winston, no doubt about it. He’s the one runnin’ the show, the starting quarterback, and a mighty fine one at that. He’s a sophomore, but he’s already proved he’s got what it takes to lead this team. I reckon you can call him the heart of the offense. He’s what they call a dual-threat quarterback, meaning he can throw and run, just like a jack-of-all-trades, but a master at both too.
Then, right behind him, you got Sean Maguire, the backup. Now, Sean, he’s been around a bit, and he’s no stranger to what it takes to get the job done, though he don’t see as much time as Jameis does. But you never know when someone’s gonna need a break, right?
Running Backs
Now, when it comes to runnin’ the ball, they got themselves a mighty fine bunch too. The starting running back, Devonta Freeman, he’s been a standout player for years now. He’s quick, he’s strong, and he can break through any defense like a hot knife through butter. They’re gonna be relying on him to keep them chains movin’ and put points on the board.
Behind him, you got James Wilder Jr., a fella who can really hit hard and run with power. He’s more of a downhill runner, the kind that makes defenders shiver in their boots. Ain’t nobody gonna want to get in his way when he’s comin’ full steam ahead.
Wide Receivers
Over at wide receiver, well, Florida State’s got themselves a mighty talented bunch. First up, Kelvin Benjamin, a big ol’ fella who can catch just ‘bout anything thrown his way. He’s a playmaker, no doubt. Right beside him, you got Rashad Greene, a speedy guy who can get open real quick and turn a short pass into a long gain. He’s got some real good hands, too, so you can count on him to catch most anything.

Then, we got Nick O’Leary at tight end, and let me tell ya, that boy’s a tough one. He’s like a big ol’ target out there, and he can catch passes that come his way without any trouble. He’s also a great blocker, which is mighty important when you’re tryin’ to protect your quarterback or get them running backs down the field.
Offensive Line
Now, I reckon we can’t forget about the big boys up front, the offensive line. Without them, well, there wouldn’t be no runnin’ or passin’. Cam Erving is the center of that line, and he’s as strong as an ox. He’ll make sure them quarterbacks and running backs got plenty of time and space to do their thing.
Alongside him, you got Josue Matias, a big fella who’s hard to move. He’s great at pushin’ defenders outta the way, and he’ll make sure the defense don’t get too close to Jameis or Devonta. They also got Tre’ Jackson and Ryan Hoefeld on the line, both strong as a mule and ready to protect their own.
Defense
Well, don’t think they ain’t got a defense that’ll knock yer socks off, ‘cause they sure do. Timmy Jernigan is their man on the defensive line, and boy, he’s a handful. Ain’t nobody runnin’ through him, that’s for sure. Alongside him, you got Mario Edwards Jr., who’s just as tough. These two fellas are gonna make life hard for the other team’s offense.
In the linebacking crew, they got Christian Jones and Telvin Smith. These two, they run all over the field, hittin’ folks and making tackles like nobody’s business. Ain’t no way a running back’s gonna get by ‘em without feelin’ it.

And then, in the secondary, they got LaMarcus Joyner, a safety who’s got some serious skills. He’s quick, smart, and he’ll be there when you least expect him. The cornerbacks, like PJ Williams and Ronald Darby, they’ll be keepin’ them wide receivers on lock, not lettin’ ‘em get too open for a catch.
Special Teams
Lastly, we can’t forget about them special teams. Kicker Roberto Aguayo has been solid as a rock for the Seminoles. He can make them long kicks like it’s nothin’, and that’s real important when you’re in a close game and need them extra points. Then, you got Cody Lattimer and Jesus Wilson returning kicks and punts, both of ‘em quick on their feet and ready to bring it back for some big yardage.
Conclusion
So there ya have it! That’s the 2013 Florida State Seminoles depth chart. From the quarterbacks to the offensive line, the defense, and them special teams, these boys are ready to make some noise. I reckon they’re gonna have themselves a great season, but only time will tell. All we can do is sit back and watch ‘em play, and let me tell ya, it’s gonna be a real treat!
