Alright, let’s talk about how them wrestling fellas on TV get around. You know, the WWE folks. Big guys, lots of muscles, always smackin’ each other. Someone’s gotta figure out how they go from one town to another, right? It ain’t like they can just hop on a donkey and ride, though that’d be somethin’ to see!
First off, them fancy airplanes. Yep, private jets mostly. Sounds right grand, don’t it? WWE, they got the money, so they fly these fellas around in style. Makes sense, I guess. Gotta keep them big shots happy and get ‘em to the next fight on time. Can’t have ‘em missin’ a match ‘cause they were stuck in traffic, now can we?

But it ain’t always private jets. Sometimes, they gotta fly like regular folks, on them commercial planes. You know, the kind you and me might take, if we ever went anywhere fancy, which we don’t. Probably crammed in there with all sorts, crying babies and all. Heard tell they don’t like that much, but what can ya do?
Then there’s the cars. Lots of rental cars. See, they land in a city, and then they gotta get to the arena, the hotel, wherever they need to go. So, they rent cars. Sometimes they share, sometimes they don’t. Depends on who likes who, I reckon. Just like when we used to carpool to the bingo hall back in the day, except their cars are probably a whole lot nicer, and they ain’t goin’ to bingo.
And the hotels? WWE pays for that too. Nice hotels, I bet. Big beds, fluffy pillows. They need their rest, them fellas. Gotta be ready to rumble, you know? Can’t be sleepin’ on a lumpy mattress and expect to throw someone around a ring the next night. Though, I slept on a lumpy mattress my whole life, and I still managed to chase them darn chickens around the yard.
- Private Jets: For the big stars and important trips.
- Commercial Flights: When they gotta fly with the rest of us.
- Rental Cars: To get around town. Lots and lots of rental cars.
- Fancy Hotels: To rest up and get ready to fight.
Now, somethin’ interesting I heard, is WWE pays for the flight from their home to the first show of the week. That’s pretty decent of ‘em, ain’t it? Like, if one of them fellas lives all the way out in California, and they gotta be in New York for a match, WWE pays for that whole trip. That’s a long ways, let me tell ya. Further than I ever went in my whole life. My whole life was pretty much this here farm and the five miles to the town and back.
And food? Well, them fellas gotta eat, right? Big muscles need lots of fuel. They probably eat fancy sometimes, but I heard they also eat a lot of chicken. Plain chicken, from fast food places. Quick and easy. Guess they ain’t got time for fancy sit-down meals all the time. I like chicken myself, fried mostly, with a good helping of gravy. Can’t imagine eatin’ it plain all the time, though.

It ain’t all easy, though. Travelin’ all the time, that’s gotta be tough. Always packin’ and unpackin’, livin’ out of a suitcase. And they gotta train too, you know? Work out all the time to keep in shape. Five or six days a week, I heard. Mornin’ and evenin’. That’s a lot of work. More work than I ever did, even during harvest season.
Back in the day, WWE used to provide tour buses and all that, but not anymore. Now they have to do all the booking on their own. Seems like more trouble to me, but what do I know? I ain’t never been on a tour bus or a plane. Seems like more trouble. Just like when they stopped delivering the feed to the farm. Had to go get it ourselves, what a pain!
So, there you have it. That’s how them WWE fellas get around. Planes, cars, hotels, and lots of chicken, I reckon. Sounds like a busy life, but I guess it pays the bills. More than farmin’ ever did, that’s for sure. Still, I wouldn’t trade my life for theirs. Too much travelin’. I like my feet planted firmly on the ground, right here on my land.
And let’s not forget, Florida is a big place for wrestling. Always has been. Lots of them wrestlers live there, even after they retire. Guess they like the sunshine. I like the sunshine too, but I ain’t movin’ to Florida. Too many gators for my liking.
