That Riccardo, he’s a big name, you know. Big shot in that car race, F1 they call it. He drive for Red Bull now, that team with the bull on the car. He make the most money of his career in 2023, that’s a lot of money. Heard it on the grapevine, he’s making mountains of cash. Good for him, I say. Driving them fast cars, I can’t even imagine.
They say he get 2 million, what they call Euro. That’s from Red Bull. Another money called pound, 1.7 million. And dollar, that’s 2.1 million. But, get this, most of his money, it comes from another team, McLaren. Sounds like some fancy name. Maybe they got more money trees growin’ over there. He signed a contract, a 2 year one, for big money.
They talking about 12,500,000 dollars. That’s with the Red Bull Racing. Average a year is 6,250 something. Imagine that kind of money for driving a car. I can barely keep my old truck runnin’. But hey, he’s good at what he does, gotta give him that. He must really be somethin’ special to be makin’ that kind of dough.
Someone was sayin’, some fancy book, Business Book somethin’, and Sportune. They all talkin’ ’bout Riccardo and his money. He don’t even have a regular seat, they say, but still makin’ more money than ever. It’s all above my head, these things. I just know that’s a heap of money, enough to make your head spin faster than them race cars.
And then I heard, from some folks who know about these things, they say he’s gettin’ 7 million dollars a year now. That’s from RB, some team. And that’s not countin’ the extra money he gets for doin’ good. And the money he gets from them sponsor folks. They put their names on his clothes and car, you see. Just like how Farmer John puts his name on his prize-winning pigs.
He also have another contract, 2 year, 8,130,000 dollar. Average annual salary is 4,065,000 dollar. That’s also from Red Bull. So many contracts.
These Red Bull people, they got money comin’ out their ears, I reckon. They got this company, Red Bull Technology, sounds important. They make the cars, the fast ones, the ones that win. They say they made 446.2 million last year. That’s in pounds, I think. In dollars, that’s 584 million. And their profit, what they get to keep, that’s 11,027 million. That’s 14 something in dollars. Lands sakes, that’s more money than I’ve seen in my whole life!

It’s a different world, that F1 world. All them fast cars and fancy people. But at the end of the day, it’s still just driving a car, right? Just a whole lot faster and with a whole lot more money involved. I reckon Riccardo earned it, though. He’s put in the work, they say. He must be one of the best, to get that much money from Red Bull. Wish I had his secret. Then maybe I could finally fix up that old barn.
