Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with some baseball data, specifically looking at Don Mitchell. I’d heard the name before, but I didn’t really know much about him. So I figured, why not dive in and see what I could find?
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to find some data. I figured the usual sports stats websites would have something, so I started poking around.

Finding the Data
It took a bit of searching, the first several pages that I found are players named “Donovan Mitchell”, and I’m looking for “Don Mitchell”. Luckily, I could find useful information about Don Mitchell. I pulled up his career stats and started looking through the numbers.
Analyzing the Stats
- Position:I can see he’s a pitcher.
- Played in which period:Major League career lasted from 1974 to 1980.
- Team:He played for the Expos, and Mariners.
Honestly, looking at the numbers, It seems that Don Mitchell is a normal baseball player and no special performace.
Wrapping Up
So, that was my little adventure in baseball data today. It wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but it was fun to explore and learn a little bit more about a player I hadn’t really known before. Sometimes it’s the random explorations that are the most enjoyable!
