Alright, so you wanna know about that LSU baseball score, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s been a real rollercoaster, like riding a mule on a bumpy road, up and down, back and forth. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, just like life, ain’t it?
I heard tell that one time they were playin’ against North Carolina, and the score was somethin’ like 7 to 1, then 8 to somethin’ when one fella whacked the ball clean outta the park for a home run. Good for him, I say! Them boys can really smack that ball, makes you wonder how their arms don’t fall off!

And speaking of winning, I heard they even played for the whole shebang, the national title, against some team from Florida. Don’t rightly know who won that one, but it musta been a heck of a game, folks screamin’ and hollerin’, probably sellin’ peanuts and hotdogs. Just like a county fair, but with more bats and balls.
- Heard they’re a pretty good team, ranked number one by somebody or other. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Best in the whole country! Makes you proud, even if you don’t know a baseball from a watermelon.
- Makes you wonder what them boys eat for breakfast. Maybe it’s grits and bacon, just like us! Or maybe it’s somethin’ fancy, city folks food. Who knows?
They even won some kind of tournament, the SEC thingamajig. Beat some team called the Vols. Good for them, I say. Winning’s always better than losin’, that’s for sure. It’s like findin’ a twenty-dollar bill in your old coat pocket, unexpected and mighty welcome.
And they’re in some big tournament now, the NCAA somethin’ or other. That’s like the big dance, ain’t it? Where all the best teams go to fight it out. Hope them LSU boys do us proud. It’s like when your grandkids go to the school spelling bee, you want them to win, but even if they don’t, you’re still proud they tried their best.
You know, baseball’s a funny game. Sometimes it’s fast, sometimes it’s slow. Sometimes it’s excitin’, sometimes it’s boring as watchin’ paint dry. But that’s life, ain’t it? Ups and downs, twists and turns. Just gotta keep on swingin’ and hope you hit somethin’ good.
So, if you wanna know the exact score, you gotta go look it up somewhere. I ain’t got no fancy phone or computer. I just hear things from folks around town, you know, the gossip at the grocery store, the chatter at the post office. But one thing’s for sure, them LSU boys are somethin’ special, and they’re gonna keep on playin’ their hearts out. And that’s all that really matters, ain’t it?
Remember now, win or lose, it’s just a game. Don’t get too worked up about it. There’s more important things in life, like family, friends, and a good piece of pecan pie. But it’s still fun to cheer on your team, even if you don’t understand all the rules and fancy plays. Just holler and clap when everyone else does, that’s what I say!
So, go Tigers! Or whatever they say. Hope they win, but if they don’t, well, there’s always next season. Just like plantin’ a garden, sometimes it’s a bumper crop, sometimes it’s not. You just gotta keep on tryin’ and hope for the best.
