That Cyndi Lauper, she’s a real firecracker, ain’t she? I seen her on the TV, singin’ and carryin’ on. Reminds me of my granddaughter, always full of beans. But that WWE Hall of Fame, now that’s somethin’ else. Wrestlin’, that’s what it is. Big ol’ fellas throwin’ each other around.
So, this here thing, is Cyndi Lauper in the WWE Hall of Fame? Well, I heard tell she ain’t in there. Not yet, anyways. Seems like a right shame, if you ask me. She was mixed up with them wrestlers a while back, you know. Back when them fellas like Hulk Hogan, big fella, was all the rage. My grandson, bless his heart, he used to watch that stuff all the time.
They say this Cyndi, she met some wrestler on an airplane. Flew all the way from Puerto Rico, wherever that is. Must be far, they needed a plane. I ain’t never been on no airplane. Don’t rightly know if I’d like it. Too high up for my likin’.
Anyways, she got mixed up with them WWE folks. Did some singin’, I reckon. Probably caused a ruckus, that Cyndi. She did win some kinda award. Best girl video, or somethin like that. This was a long while back, mind you. Nineteen eighty-four. The year my youngest got married. Had a big party, it was. Played some good music.
Now, this Hall of Fame, it’s like a big ol’ list of important folks. They got over two hundred of ’em in there. A whole mess of wrestlers. And some other folks, too, who ain’t wrestlers. Celebrities, they call ’em. Like that Cyndi. She is a big singer lady.
Some folks is saying she should be in that WWE Hall of Fame. Maybe she will be, one of these days. It’s a big deal, gettin’ in there. Like winnin’ a blue ribbon at the county fair. Only for wrestlin’, and singin’, and such.
It don’t make much difference to me, one way or the other. But seems like that Cyndi, she made a big splash. She’s a famous singer. Got her name up in lights, I suppose.
This WWE thing, it’s big business, ain’t it? Lots of folks watchin’ it. Like I said, my grandson, he was glued to the TV when it was on. Used to drive his mama crazy, imitatin’ them wrestlers. Jumpin’ off the furniture and such. Kids, you know how they are.
So, to answer the question, is Cyndi Lauper in the WWE Hall of Fame? Nope, not right now. Could be someday, though. Who knows what them WWE folks are thinkin’. They got their own way of doin’ things, I reckon. Just like everybody else.
That’s all I got to say about that. It’s gettin’ late, and I need to go put the chickens up. If you want to see some rasslin, just watch the rooster and the hens fight, they have a real go at it sometimes.
