This thing, WWE Network, it’s like that old TV we used to have, always fuzzy. Now I hear folks sayin’ it’s going away. Is WWE Network shutting down? Yeah, that’s the word on the street, or should I say, down the dirt road.
WWE Network Shuts Down?
They say come January 1, 2025, poof! It’s gone. Like smoke from a chimney. Now where are we gonna watch them wrestlers? They say this Netflix thing is gonna take over. Sounds fancy, like them city folks’ contraptions. I just want to see my wrestling, plain and simple.
I heard it from young folks. They talking ’bout WWE Network shutting down and moving to Netflix next year, in 2025. It seems like a big deal. They also talk about something called Peacock. What’s that? Is that a new bird or something? I only know we can still watch those shows on it. That’s a relief, I guess.
I remember back in the day, we’d all gather ’round the television to watch. Didn’t need no Netflix or fancy names. Just good old wrasslin’. Now everything’s changin’. Is WWE Network shutting down for good? Yep, looks like it.
What’s Gonna Happen to WWE?
They say all the shows, like Raw and SmackDown, and something called NXT, gonna be on Netflix. I don’t know what NXT is, maybe some new thing. But I like Raw and SmackDown, hope they don’t mess it up on this new thing.
- Raw: That’s the one with all the big fellas, right?
- SmackDown: I like the ladies on this one.
- NXT: No clue what this is, but they say it’s movin’ too.
So, WWE Network shutting down means we gotta get this Netflix thing. Sounds like a hassle, but I guess we gotta do it if we want our wrestling. I hope it ain’t too hard to use. Old folks like me, we ain’t too good with these newfangled things.
I heard somethin’ ’bout some “WHAT” chant. Sounds silly to me. Back in my day, we just cheered or booed. None of this fancy chantin’. But these young’uns, they love it. All this because WWE Network shutting down and movin’ to Netflix, I guess.
Will We Still Get Our Wrestling?
They say we can still watch some stuff on Peacock, but not everything. This Raw show, it’s gonna be on Netflix startin’ January 6th. I just hope they don’t make it too complicated.
They talkin’ ’bout “premium live events” and “historic PLEs” and “top moments.” Sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me. I just wanna see the matches. Is that too much to ask? This whole WWE Network shutting down thing is makin’ my head spin.
I heard that outside US, WWE Network is still there for now. But they say it’s gonna be gone everywhere soon. Oh well, times are changing.
What’s This Netflix Thing Anyway?
This Netflix, it’s like a big library, they say. Lots of shows and movies. But I only care ’bout my wrestling. Hope they don’t bury it under all that other stuff.
So, is WWE Network shutting down? Yes, ma’am, it is. And we gotta get ready for this Netflix thing. I just hope it’s worth all the trouble. I miss the simple days, when we just turned on the TV and watched our shows.
I reckon we’ll get used to it. We always do. But I sure do miss the old days. This whole WWE Network shutting down business is a sign of the times, I guess. Everything’s changin’, whether we like it or not.
I just want to say, change is hard. Especially for us old folks. But if we want to keep watching our wrestling, we have to change with it. WWE Network shutting down is sad, but maybe this Netflix will be okay. We just have to wait and see.
One more thing, this WWE Network shutting down also means no more of that email they send. It said the Network is ending on January 1, 2025. So, get ready for Netflix, folks. That’s where our wrestling will be. I hope it will be easy. It is a big change.
