Okay, so I’ve been a huge wrestling fan since I was a kid, and The Hardy Boyz were always one of my favorite tag teams. I mean, who didn’t love their high-flying moves and crazy outfits? I always remembered them being around in the WWE (or WWF, as it was known back then) for ages, but I recently got into a debate with a buddy about when they actually debuted. He was convinced it was later than I thought. So, I needed to settle this once and for all.
I started by firing up my trusty old computer. It’s a bit of a dinosaur, but it gets the job done. My first instinct was, of course, to hit up the internet.

My Research Process
- First Stop: General Search. I typed in “Hardy Boyz WWE debut” into the search bar, just to see what would pop up. I figured I’d get a bunch of wrestling fan sites and maybe some old news articles.
- Digging Deeper. I started sifting through the search results. There were the usual suspects, fan forums and wrestling blogs. I spent some time browsing a few of these.
- Comfirmed!. Finally, I got my results from search.
So, the results? The Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff, made their WWF/E debut as a tag team on September 27, 1999. I knew I was right all along!
