Alright, folks, let me tell you about how I got ready to watch the WWE Survivor Series. It was a bit of a scramble, but I figured it out, and I’m here to share my experience so you can avoid the same hassle.
First off, I needed to find out where this thing was even streaming. I did some digging and found out that in the U.S., Peacock is the place to be for this event. If you’re somewhere else in the world, apparently, it’s on the WWE Network. I also stumbled upon some info saying you could catch it on Disney+ HotStar, but I didn’t go down that road since I’m in the U.S.
So, since I’m in the States, I focused on Peacock. I already had an account, but if you don’t, you’ll probably need to sign up for that. They have different plans, so you gotta pick one that suits you. I didn’t have to do this step as I was already subscribed, but I imagine it’s pretty straightforward.
Next, I had to figure out when this whole thing was going down. Turns out, it was scheduled for Saturday, November 30, at the Rogers Arena. But the actual streaming starts a bit earlier. I found out that the pre-show was kicking off at 6 p.m. ET, which is 3 p.m. PT for those on the West Coast. The main event itself starts at 7 p.m. ET, or 4 p.m. PT.
Once I had the time sorted, I made sure my Peacock app was all set up on my TV. I logged in, browsed around a bit to make sure I knew where to find the live stream when the time came. It’s usually under the sports or live events section, so it wasn’t too hard to locate.
I also found out that there’s a post-show on Peacock, which is cool if you want to see all the wrap-up and reactions. I decided I’d probably check that out too.
On the day of the event, I got my snacks ready, made myself comfortable, and tuned in to Peacock a little before 6 p.m. ET. I didn’t want to miss any of the pre-show action. The stream started right on time, and I was all set.
